Group Ownership Glitch

GROUP LINK: Rising Wind Community - Roblox

I created a Roblox group called Rising Wind Community.
When I created it, Roblox gave me and error and set me as a member of my own group. I have access to it in the creator hub, but I have no access to it from frontside Roblox.

Is there any staff that can set me as the owner of my own Roblox group? Thanks.

EDIT: I ALSO CANNOT LEAVE MY OWN ROBLOX GROUP, I used 2-Step Verification to leave the group. and now it locked me in. Can anyone help me restore ownership to my own ROBLOX group?

yeah i dont think theres a feature to make u the owner of ur group again
i deleted one of my groups intentionally by removing all my members and giving ownership to no one

so ur group is probably gone unless staff help

Idk but if u can access in creator hub then maybe in roles u can add a new role and call it whatever u want make the role have access to all the things u can do with a group then assign it to yourself
Its a way of being able to have access to the group i think idk this has never happened to me before try it
It wont grant u actual ownership tho

Group displaying owner while none in role

Roughly a month ago, I attempted to transfer ownership of my group (4753570) to one of my other accounts. The transfer seems to have “glitched”, and the group displays itself as having a owner on the header while there is no account assigned to the 255 (Owner) roleset. Created this group last night. Waited 24 hours to see if whatever the issue was would resolve itself. I created the group following the usual steps. There are a couple of existing bug report threads that are attempting to tackle this issue. I would advise you to post about this in there as that’s what I did and it was fixed for me.

I told my friend about this and he said he will have a look.

Upon joining, he was put in the member role just like you. But now, for some strange reason, he physically cannot leave the group.

Inspect Element (CTRL/CMD + SHIFT + I) or right-click and click “Inspect Element” then open the console. I’ll ask him to post a tutorial since it is a bit complicated for me

This has to be the most confounding error that I have seen before. Not only am I not allowed ownership of the group I made, but I also cannot leave my own group.

He wanted to protect his account, so unfortunately, he blocked out the console but if you follow the steps you should see that error pop up.

Looking at the network tab (instead of the console) may provide additional information about the issue.
(Open the network tab, click Leave to leave the group, then view the network request that it creates)

I don’t think Roblox staff monitor this category. Make a bug report if you have access to it or send a message to @Bug-Support
