Could we have game specific payouts? Often I find I work with different teams for different projects, but all managed under the same group. The issue is % payouts pay developers from all games, not just the ones they worked on.
So the suggestion really is perhaps when selecting a % payout, a further option to select what revenue streams this % will be from?
There isnt much to do with the Group Roles there are so many Toggles for Creator Hub but there isnt alot like there is for Groups though i agree with you there
@peraldon Hey! Wanted to ask if there were any plans for a simple “View group funds” permission. Developers of some groups I work in like using the pending Robux figure to measure how the profitability of a game changes over time with certain updates. Yes, Creator Hub analytics are available for this, but they’re always a day behind and it’s unintuitive for when you want a quick gauge of how well a group’s doing in terms of revenue.
Right now, the “Spend group funds” permission is the only one that gives you access to view them, too, but this comes with the caveat of those with the permission having access to drain all of the groups’ funds on badges, ads, etc. This is a security risk and holds me back from giving devs this permission just to be able to see the funds summary.
I doubt this would be difficult to implement either, and would really appreciate it. My apologies if this has already been mentioned in this thread, I haven’t had a chance to read through all the messages here
Edit: Probably should’ve asked this in this other thread:
In the meantime, can you guys clarify whether the “Spend group funds” permission actually allows anyone with it to blow all the group funds on advertisements in one go? What other permissions does this setting actually entail? Would be very much appreciated as there’s some confusion around this throughout the forums.
Just as a quick heads up - we rolled out the ‘Member’ role to all Groups on Creator Hub. This is a role that everyone in your group always has (everyone’s a Member!), meaning you can use it to give out ‘default’ permissions to everyone in one go.
Will these new roles eliminate legacy roles as in, will roblox eventually remove legacy roles? And will these new roles be able to be displayed on the group?
Is there a way to detect what roles someone has for a group/game?
I.e. game:GetService("Players").Zirkonir:GetCollaborationRoles() or game:GetService("Players"):GetPlayerCollaborationRoles(game:GetService("Players").Zirkonir)
How works the group owning group can I add a group with different owner to another group and stay that owner the same but if there need to be id verified that group can get acces cuz the primary group is id verified I can’t use the ex ads rn
When we can give experience permissions for a individual experience with creator hub roles I expected new members it should be handful if I can use the payment roles (I use to know who works on a experience) to grand permission to a experience and not others and should the hammer than apear (the leaderboard icon thingy spear if you are a Dev) @peraldon
And how the group owning group will work can I like add group b to group a with id verified owner and keep the owner of group b the same and can group b use id verified functions than and own group b group C and d then too currently I can’t use the ads thing cuz the group manager of the group I own together with @0Shank isn’t if verified
What gonna happen with the legacy roles I cliened up some legacy roles cuz I don’t need them with the new roles I has two partner roles partner and Dev partner I can use them currently to perm users permissions but I will use them for the community prefer and how works seen roles in the future like I can grand users permissions trough Dev role and make in creator hub a head Dev roles etc owner each with different permission but if should be fine if I can show that in the group so people know you are Dev or owner
