How can you quickly separate a mesh into multiple meshes?

I am trying to import a very large mesh into Studio and it is way over the polygon limit. I am trying to avoid reducing or decimating the entire poly count.

Is there a way to divide 1 mesh file into 15-20 different meshes quickly with a program without having to manually do so with selections in Blender?

I would do this with either circle or border select, with ‘limit selection to visible’ disabled:
