This is incredibly annoying, someone commissioned me and he couldn’t pay me immediately since there is like a long wait. Since he needed the assets soon I gave it to him before being paid(I never do this). I only did it since he actually has some proof that it is him and that he can pay. Now I need to wait 2 weeks before I can get paid.

I recommend using T-Shirts, or Game passes to transfer Robux.
And yes it does take a percentage of the Robux, but it’s literally the fastest way to transfer robux.

It has now been determined that a user must be in a Group for 14 days (2 weeks) before they are eligible to receive payouts.

That’s why I rather develop in Discord Bot and not accepting Robux as Payment. I rather use Paypal even is pain than Robux. Okay if you doesn’t know how bad is Roblox’s Revenue Management. I think here is some facts.
- Roblox always took 30% of your every Profits. Is pain when you add all amount Roblox Deduct [100K robux = 70K robux after]
- Roblox make a rule which is no “Robux Giveaway” and Roblox’s Ways to prevent is to Delay every payout at least 5 Days for Gamepass & Developer Product [3 Days before the Rule added for prevent scamming such as Fake Gamepass]
- Roblox make that every new group have to wait at least 21 Days for their First Payout. I don’t know why but I think is to also prevent “Robux Giveaway” something.
- Roblox make that New User have to wait at least 7 Days EVEN 14 Days. This is also prevent “Robux Giveaway” and prevent alt transfer funds fast which make Roblox Staff hard to locate the Funds Locate at when there’s some issues.
Conclude:
All of these rules make a lot of Developer which doing commision rather use Paypal than Robux. It also make a lot of Developer Quit. Also, remember DevExchange. I would suggest those dev who want to earn money from Roblox Exchange is way too impossible and is not worth at all. Check this 30% Tax which mean if you already have 100K Robux in pending you still get 70K at last and when you exchange is require you 100K each time. This is not the worst. But, you get around 350 DOLLAR for 100K ROBUX which is not worth AT ALL!

I’ve waited for 3 weeks and it still says the users are illegible for payouts, I wish roblox could remove this update since all this does is hurt developers and I’m pretty this does not affect the people which roblox targetted this update towards (scammers and other ToS breakers) that much.
Roblox should remove this update and just put more security on their website and how people compromise certain accounts and groups so this would not be as much of an issue in the first place.

This post is pretty old, but I’m waiting as well.
Seems like a lot of what ROBLOX does with funds is just another inconvenience for commissioned developers on top of all of the already existing ones.

Please fix this roblox, it is months later now, and I am honestly thinking of quitting developing, I cant receive robux easily anymore, it is difficult. Ruined my ease, I stopped doing commissions, I am running out of Robux, I am closing down my projects in order to try to save, Roblox, please, you are killing me slowly…

Roughly around 2 weeks. There is actually a way to track this. If you go to your members list on the groups, the order of the members is from newest to oldest. That means that you can use trial and error to find the member who has most recently been eligible for group payouts. Thus you can count how many members are in between the specific user you want to pay and the most recent member who is eligible for payouts. If you check back in a few hours, you may find that a few more members will become eligible for payout. That allows you to roughly estimate when the specific user will be eligible.

I just want to know what Roblox’s motivation behind this is. The outcry from developers and group owners alike is obviously too big to ignore, but I don’t see Roblox doing anything about it.

Ya and I’m just dealing with some horrible timings with this thing enabled. The worse part about things like these are they don’t even tell you how long, or for the “Inappropriate place name or description” they don’t even tell you what part that they THINK is inappropriate. It’s just left to our imagination to find out these things.

Same thing for me. I cannot pay a developer! It has passed excacly 2 weeks. And still that error. Why dont they reduce it to one week? It is really annouying.
