:coffee: Impresso Espresso - Promotion Guide

:bell: This guide outlines essential practices for Senior Baristas aiming to advance to Staff Assistant roles at Impresso Espresso.

:exclamation: Please note, while this guide provides key suggestions, it does not encompass every aspect of conduct expected from Senior Baristas. It is essential to apply common sense in all situations.

:+1: The Benefits:

To advance from Senior Barista to Staff Assistant at Impresso Espresso, you must demonstrate consistent activity and embody key qualities such as maturity, helpfulness, leadership, and professionalism. Unlike lower ranks, there’s no formal training path for Staff Assistant; instead, recognition by our Administration Team or higher is crucial. While attire and username aesthetics don’t influence promotions, active engagement over sustained periods is essential. We encourage regular involvement, typically around 1-2 hours daily, which shows dedication and reliability. Additionally, being part of our communications server and having unrestricted chat capabilities are prerequisites for consideration as a Staff Assistant.

:-1: The Drawbacks:

Constantly seeking attention from admins instead of focusing on your work for promotion is considered counterproductive. Similarly, avoid giving repeated warnings to trollers; refer to our Barista Expectations for guidance on that matter. Instead, report such incidents directly to an Medium Rank/High Rank present at the café or issue warnings as appropriate based on the severity of their actions. When reporting, provide specific details rather than general requests. Handling disputes effectively with other baristas also builds a positive reputation and demonstrates your ability to manage situations professionally. If a situation escalates beyond your control, seek assistance from an admin on the communication server. Consistent and active participation is crucial; irregular activity may hinder your chances of promotion. Additionally, refrain from assuming responsibilities or roles of an Medium Rank as a Senior Barista, such as accessing logs or supervising without authorization, as this behavior is not tolerated.

:next_track_button: Now, moving on to Staff Assistants

All Staff Assistants are recognized by our Administration and High-Rank teams as potential candidates to join our Medium Rank Team in the future. To position yourself effectively, maintain activity, demonstrate leadership qualities, and stay true to yourself. Adhere to the guidelines outlined for Senior Baristas, as they are equally applicable here. When a Medium Rank position becomes available, you will be considered alongside other dedicated Staff Assistants. However, securing the role is not guaranteed, as competition will be fierce. Emphasize your unique attributes and skills to distinguish yourself. Although grammar is not mandatory for Staff Assistants, clear sentences and accurate spelling may be more critically assessed due to your pursuit of an admin role. Misusing any commands will lead to immediate demotion.
