To be honest I think roblox should have a voting system for something like this. I would also like to recognize that this only has 169 likes as of the time im writing this while other roblox posts get far more, showing how annoying this is for people.

Im not quite sure about the age thing because most people lie about their age on roblox anyways, although I do agree with verified developers.

@worldwarbattle They’re talking about account age/how long the account has been made for, not the birth date on the account

My honest opinion: What is there to not like? I get that people don’t want to wait long, but you gotta deal with it. Do you want robux but in 7 days, or would you like the platform to be overrun by hackers that steal your robux? It’s your choice.
They want this platform to be safe, and by doing that they may have to take away something that you like.

Oh ok I thought they meant birth age and then maybe I agree with that.
It’s not a blanket seven day wait. It’s at least three days and up to seven, not that it’s any better.
I get why this is going to be a thing, but still is going to be pretty annoying especially if you need to pay developers. 3 days was already stretching it. If you are going to try to increase security for developers. maybe add a pin prompt for payouts.
I’m not really sure, but there are probably better ways to do this instead of causing an inconvenience for developers, though.

As far as the commission based argument goes, you shouldn’t pay using a shirt. Pay using group funds, or in the other cases use real world currency.
And how do we get funds into a group?
This is a terrible update, I understand it is to improve safety within the site but it’ll bring more downsides than advantages.
Waiting three days to get Robux into a group is already a pain, now it can take up to 7 days?
This would be way more welcomed if you guys added the option to deposit funds into a group through your own wallet, which should be instant, and reduce or possibly remove the tax of doing so. Taxing us for depositing Robux in our own groups is pretty much taking away our own money.

Indeed this is. As a smaller developer, it’s hard to keep a group active even with pending sales at 3 days. Now wait for a peroid of up to 7 days is going to make people leave the group for inactivity. My groups rely on the 3 days pending to keep active.

Honestly, I thought 3 days was bad enough. But 7 is just too much. A whole week to wait for funds? That’s too much! I get its for security reasons but… And its already a pain to wait. There has to be other ways to increase security.

Well you see it doesn’t have to be 7 days. It should be 6 or 5 days and that should be enough time for Roblox to solve all the problems with your robux. Just cutting it down one day would make life a lot easier on Roblox.
You can get robux from a group owner if the group owner has funds for their group and decides to pay you the robux.
Having a game on the group, or preloading the funds weeks ahead.
Give us an option to put our own robux into our group. That being said, 7 days is still a long time. 3 Days is already too long and hurts dev, not only that, but there’s a 30% fee, I could be getting my full 1000 robux from a gamepass I made, but no, I am getting 700. Devs need to fulfill the needs of their players, if they had to pay a dev, they would have to wait 3 days to pay them, now 7?!? That’s unbelievable.

and DevEx takes long enough as it is, adding this could be up to a months wait time on groceries and essentials in a worldwide pandemic, not to mention the added stress that most people are going to face with this
