Incoming Adjustment to 'Pending Sales' Waiting Period

Can we get any sort of feature that allows Developers to transfer their robux to a group easily? I know that’d be hard to secure, but maybe you can do something like making all profits or a certain amount from a game pass go to a group.

I feel like everyone would be way more fine with this if there was just a easier solution to transfer robux to groups without having 30% sent to the abyss.

As a small developer, I strongly disagree with this update. We all thought 3 days was long enough, but now possibly 7? This update could possibly hurt major & minor developers.

Based on the blowing up on this forum… I think the community has spoken.

Roblox’s turn

just make the person enter a pin when putting a item on sale

this will prevent scammers from selling the items on the account

they should just make a pin while selling items, this will prevent people from stealing anything

7 days feels like way too much. I honestly think its fine at 3.

Roblox said a range of 3 to 7 days.

This applies to @ArtemAgent0707 too

Is there any information on how a transaction will be rated on it’s risk/fraud or are transactions going to be assigned a random waiting period? How do we know that all transactions just wont get a 7 day processing period?

In a real world situation some transactions go right on through, while others take 1-3 buisness days to process, which I’m fine with; but 7 buisness days on a transaction is a long time, I haven’t had any transactions I’ve made in the real world pend for 7 days or even 7 buisness days.

3 days is justified, but if these transactions aren’t being monitored by either comptuer systems or employees and it’s just being increased to a random period of time between 3-7 days, then it really makes this unacceptable.

Looking forward to hearing more about this.

I’m sorry but let me get this right, we have to wait 3-7 days now? Really? It was long enough already with 72hour waiting now we have the chance of waiting for more than 100? Everyone, literally EVERYONE has been asking for a shorter one but we get hit with a week. Do you really need the window to catch these frauds to open that big? I don’t think so, the market fee PLUS a chance of having to wait for a WEEK? Come on. A small developer could be making their first sale ever but they need to wait 3-7 days to check fraud and abuse. This update is outrageous, this update is like putting a band aid on a severed arm, absolutely none of this is necessary and you were able to accomplish this goal within 1-3 days but how much better would you make it as long as a week? LOT’S of things can happen during a period of 72 hours (3 days)

Please reread, Roblox clearly stated it is a range between 3 to 7 days

And just a small note for you

3 days is 72 hours and not 62 hours.

As @J_guar515 said

What if some legitimate developer makes a lot of robux from gamepasses and the algorithim falsely detects that they are commiting fraud? It would screw up the developer, forcing them to wait a week until they get their robux.

Lovely idea although I made a fair amount on the platform it may be frustrating to wait another few days but its worth the wait.

Now days Roblox has too many scam games and giving them up to a week to notice them will be help increase the security of the platform.

Ok I understand where you going.

But what happened to “false positives”

I think if we’re forced to wait 7 days, then the 30% tax needs to be decreased into a more manageable figure so that there’s some sort of compensation when people are waiting longer than they should.

The only groups this doesn’t affect is the larger groups who don’t rely on paycheck-to-paycheck to host their ads.
This is all wrong.

Well, better safe than sorry right?
My question to this is, what is the current situation the developer in?

If the developer needs to pay other developers, use the funds to pay for rent, bills, live on the funds or need the funds to support their families, then fair enough.

If it is a solo developer who does not need Roblox earnings and have a job to keep themselves a stable life or is a child who live with their parents who provide food and shelter to them, then it would not matter to wait for 3 to 7 days.

I’m aware this is to make things more secure but seriously making it 3-7 some developers need to get the money ASAP so they run ads to get money wether it’s to get something for a group or to pay someone that needs to be paid ASAP. Raising this period is a terrible descision.

When you thought 2020 cannot get worse, they make this update.

And another 3-7 days for DevEx to go through.

Atleast I am glad, this doesnt decrease any percentage. I can wait 2-3 days longer with no worries, hopefully it won’t be much of a problem in the future.

Group funds don’t have a tax on the way out. But the only way to add Funds to a group is to buy something from the group/Group Game, which IS taxed. (And now with a 3-7 day wait period)
