I think the Roblox Player one should get a representation of the R letter instead of an S.

I feel like the old logo looks better imo. Flat, modern and fits.
New logo seems weird. You have a gradient on a primary flat design which will never work. And now, it’s a box. It’s basically a horizontally sliced cheeze-it. And the blur just makes the logo look less quality. It just doesn’t fit the forum or the site as a whole imo.

When I was loading up studio and the logo was different I though I downloaded a virus

Really really love the shape but I definitely think the gradient is too strong, most notably the darker shade of blue. Comparing to the Roblox logo, the value range has much much much more contrast and looks really awkward and very abrupt at small icon sizes. Definitely recommend at least toning down the dark blue shadow. I think the highlight is great though.

It reminds me of something too, but I don’t know if it’s just me that sees it. I don’t particularly want to say what it makes me think of.
I actually like the idea, but I don’t like the gradient. It’s gray and it’s taking away the pure feel of it.
Can we get a vector of the studio icon, so community projects revolving around studio don’t have to use poorly scaled edits?

I just have to agree with people that have made better points than that I can think of
It just stands out awkwardly to the rest of the ui.
Scaling down or just removing the gradient would be fine as the shape and design is very good
I like the new logo, the gradient might need to be reworked though because when the logo is small it’s pretty bad.

While I do like how this fits with the studio style, the gradient offsets the player the new Roblox logo has a different sort of gradient style which I think would fit studio better. And as mentioned before changing the logo would mean redoing every developer crown which would also be a set back. While this update is good, it has lots of flaws.
In my own opinion, I much prefer this new logo in comparison to the old one. It adds the modernized and somewhat futuristic feel to it. Even though a good chunk of people don’t like the gradient, I also like the gradient. I’d say they did an great redesigning the logo 
Note: Gradient is great, but can be toned down a bit.
I liked the logo, but as many said I also think that this gradient is not very good, the tonality of the center of the image is very strong and the edges are very light, not matching RobloxStudio.
Very beautiful concept bringing a lot of happiness to the developers!

Not sure whether it was mentioned above or not however I think the new studio logo should’ve followed on the design of the old studio logo with the measuring equipment.
Based on what I’ve read in the OP I don’t think the new logo is really clear that it symbolises the creation of games. You can’t really see the “S” (unless you have really good reading glasses). However I do like the approach of helping distinguish the apps for easier disability access, but I do wish that there should’ve been a better approach to remaking the logo than just making a cut down the middle.

I love the new logo! I do think that it is difficult to see the “S” unless you are focusing directly on the logo, other than that, I like the refresh, it has not changed in years. Keep up the good work! 
Its a cool looking logo
but it doesn’t look the best on the task bar which is not good, especially when this is the type of people that are going to be switching tabs a lot

I am unsure, the more I look at it the I dont really like. I feel it could be nice but its going to take some time to get used to.

In my opinion, I don’t really like it. I much prefer the old one, because it didn’t have this weird gradient to it.
