I liked the logo, but as many said I also think that this gradient is not very good, the tonality of the center of the image is very strong and the edges are very light, not matching RobloxStudio.

Not sure whether it was mentioned above or not however I think the new studio logo should’ve followed on the design of the old studio logo with the measuring equipment.
Based on what I’ve read in the OP I don’t think the new logo is really clear that it symbolises the creation of games. You can’t really see the “S” (unless you have really good reading glasses). However I do like the approach of helping distinguish the apps for easier disability access, but I do wish that there should’ve been a better approach to remaking the logo than just making a cut down the middle.
I love the new logo! I do think that it is difficult to see the “S” unless you are focusing directly on the logo, other than that, I like the refresh, it has not changed in years. Keep up the good work!

but it doesn’t look the best on the task bar which is not good, especially when this is the type of people that are going to be switching tabs a lot

I honestly don’t like purely because of the gradient.
My answer is a big no. It looks hideous.
I am unsure, the more I look at it the I dont really like. I feel it could be nice but its going to take some time to get used to.
In my opinion, I don’t really like it. I much prefer the old one, because it didn’t have this weird gradient to it.
this new logo is honestly better in my opinion, the shape makes it look like an s for “studio” and for some reason you all hate the gradient idk why but it makes it look modern.

To be honest, the gradient is a downgrade for me. Simplicity was key; but the new logo doesn’t seem fitting for me at all.
Can we have the ability to revert the logo for our personal preferences? I would like the new logo if it was just flat as opposed to a gradient
I kind of like the gradient, but its the design I hate. It just doesn’t look like a Roblox. it looks more like a 69, but with ones. Or maybe one of those recycling things.
I wouldn’t call gradients “outdated” as they’ve been making a comeback recently if you pay attention to current design trends, also the logo as is is quite “minimalistic”. Although something we can agree on is that this sort of logo due to the gradient isn’t really something that’s going to remain in style for a long time so they would’ve indeed been safer to go with a flat style in order to perhaps make it timeless such as the Nike logo for example.
Great improvement, this just shows that we’ve been listened to by the Roblox gods themselves and now we’ve gotten an improvement on the Roblox Studio logo!

this logo is very strange the old one feels more aesthetic modern and simple better for the taskbar this is very uncomfortable I don’t want to see it

I think the gradient should look more subtle.
Looking at this logo, the gradient goes from top to bottom, while in the new logo the gradient comes from the slash and out on both pieces. It just looks a bit strange to me.
The top piece looks as if the right side of it is over the bottom piece’s right side, but it looks like the left sides match up. I don’t know why, that just bothers me.

I prefer the new one for sure, looks way nicer in my opinion.
