Introducing Our New Studio Logo!

Love the new design, hate the gradient. It looks okay when looking at a larger size, but looks horrible when shrunken down. I love change, but the gradient just needs to be removed or made significantly more subtle.

E.P.I.C. and even more epic! I really love the ‘S’ pareidolia. Super slick on Studio’s side!

It fits in well with the normal roblox game icon, but I’m going to be as nice as I can and as straight to the point. It looks bad.

Super cool, really improved, but the explorer icons could really use a revamp also.

The new icon looks hideous anyway.
ROBLOX is supposed to be moving towards the future, and using a neuomorphic design language as opposed to a skeuomorphic design language. It looks looks so hideous.

I really like this new studio logo, it’s very metallic and bright compared to the previous logo. The old logo was too simple and looked like someone used the square tool in Microsoft paint. If this is the new studio logo then I can’t wait to see what the next game logo will look like! I hope they make it red this time…

Yep, I wish it was easier to change the explorer icons.

The new refreshed one looks so modern, realistic, and shady, but I still liked the old one.

What made me like the old one more than the refreshed one is the angle of how the Roblox Logo is cut. I feel like the new one’s cut angle is a bit “off”, like even though it’s sideways, I liked how the old one’s angles is corner by corner.

This logo is nice although, will the roblox player icon be changed?

I know this is offtopic, but was this changed as well?

This one looks good though, sometimes change can be a good thing even though not everyone may like it. It’ll take time for everyone to get used to this new design. It certainly is a step back in the right direction after they made everything too simplistic.

I noticed that the icons have a black rounded background in the image in the OP. Will we get something like this to match with the new app icon standards for MacOS Big Sur?

They look somewhat out of place at the moment:

To be honest, it’s hard to choose which one I like better… They’re both good, but I guess I’d rather choose the new one. The modern look of it is probably what I like most about it. Good job on it!

People will have doubts about it for now but as always they’ll grow used to it. Keep up the good work Roblox!

Pretty bad change. :face_vomiting:

It’s a small thing to get up and arms about, but then again it doesn’t match other icons and looks severely out of place.

Anyone else losing nostalgia right now? this logo is a lot better but I wish they would keep the old one as it symbolizes ROBLOX as a whole.

Love it!

I never liked the old logo, it always felt so basic.

+1 on the gradient, “flat = modern” is outdated

To be honest, I think that the Roblox studio getting new changes and appearances is pretty cool but to me it feels like the Roblox logo got downgraded. To me, the old logo felt like a cool crisp development icon which looks nice compared with other development software logos. On the other hand, we have the new logo. which on my desktop and when I launch studio, seems low res, not crisp, and looks like a mobile game icon, not a quality studio. Maybe its the gradient but it feels like the new logo was suppose to be the icon before switching over to the now old logo, if you understand what I mean. On paper, the logo seems nice and looks cool with the gradient. In action, it feels for low quality. This might be because the design seems more simple compared to the old logo but, what you gonna do. Ima just roll with the punches. I know the logo must have a talented artist behind it and must have had good intendencies, but I think the image, put into action, didn’t seem “better.”
