From my recommendation, I would learn some scripting from PeasFactory.

He makes clear statements and more reasons on what each value or what the statement means in the script. I’ve finished a whole series of him 2 years ago and I must say, I have been practicing a lot scripting and dropping notes from his videos.

He also has a advanced series which is more complex, better watch the beginners.

Effective way to learn how to script?

I really want to learn how to game make, but… I am not very good at scripting, so what can I do to learn roblox lua well? Usually I grab a free model, like a rotating part, look over the script and recreate it to learn new stuff, but that only goes so far
