Iā€™m happy to announce the new LightUp update!
The GUI Looks like this now: (thereā€™s room for more buttons)


I disabled the feature to change MaxBounces and Brightness (they were just lagging the game more), but if anyone wants them back, Iā€™ll add them!


LightUp now has two more features!

  1. Volumetric Fogs
    (Made for long range spotlights!)
  1. Lightbugs

Hello!
Working on a new volumetric lighting system.
Itā€™s faster, works better in real-time and doesnā€™t use parts!

You should have an in-game demo so people can see it in a 3D view.

I have a suggestion for the plugin, can you make an option where the light baking will only bake lights you selected?

Didnā€™t mention this is the OP, but if you select a model for example, it will only bake the lights inside of the model! (if you select a house, it will bake every light in the house.)

Just asking, so Iā€™m trying to make a game with a mineshaft using this but, every time I add the volumetric fog, the lights that are inside the mineshaft donā€™t get fog but those outside do, is this intended?

Well, this is probably because the mineshaft is a too small space for it to work.
Iā€™ve actually made a better volumetric lightning system.

It has an open-source game so you can copy the scripts and implement it into your game.
