LightUp! The perfect plugin to fix your lighting

Yes, this is a repost because the original one was in the wrong category and moderated
I noticed how other developers put their plugins in this category so I tought I can post it here too.

Hello fellow developers!
Let me introduce my new plugin LightUp!

LightUp is a plugin that calculates how light bounces of surfaces and use that data to
make your lighting look 10x better!
The plugin is mainly created for small and medium sized closed areas. (Houses, Caves, etc.)

Let’s talk about how it works.
You install the plugin, you enter studio and you need to click on the “Plugins” tab on the top.

You need to click the “Toggle GUI” button with that looks like this:

You should now see a gui on your screen
image
(You can mess with these values if you want. But I only recommend changing them if you want to experiment with the plugin.)
So, after you have your house, place your lights in it.

Now you should click the “Bake lighting” button on the gui to do the magic.

(if you don’t like the result you get, just click the button again to re-simulate the lighting)

There are some good examples you can check out:

It costs robux because I worked really hard on it.

I’ve read a few of your posts, this is pretty neat.

One small nitpick in the description/title of post:

This post is fine in Cool Creations category, but I suggest moving it to #resources (as it is a community resource. You might have been moderated because it isn’t a free resource?)

Overall, well done!

Hello!
Thank you so much!
First, it was in community resources but it got taken down because it costs robux.
I’m glad you like it!

(Edit: I wrote lightning in the plugin too :D. I’ll fix it as soon as I can!)

This looks like a very cool plugin. I’m not going to buy it at the moment because I don’t really need it for anything right now and want to save my robux, but I have this bookmarked for anytime in the future when I might need it!

Thank you!
I hope you’ll be able to buy the plugin in the future!
Have a good day!

Hello!
Small update, now you can’t spam the Bake Lighting button.
It also turns grey while you are baking light.

Looks good, but the icon is pixelated atleast as showed up in the image (didn’t buy it yet), but I have a question , are you planning to add a free lite version with limited stuff? Or will there only be one type of this plugin?

I have no idea why it’s pixelated, it’s a high resolution image.
I can’t really make a lite version, because I don’t know what to limit. There’s no free version for now.

When you have more buttons or features , you might be able to make the free version.

Hello!
I just realised the plugin have reached 20 downloads.
Is there any new feature you would like to see in the future?
Is there a bug I need to fix?
Please say it here in the replies!

Sorry for the late reply.
I won’t do that because those features took like 5 minutes to implement, the algorithm was the hard part that took like a week or two.
No free version for now, sorry!

Well done! Is it a raycasting render? Sorry just curious! Looks amazing!

Yes, it uses raycasting to calculate the bouncing of the lights.
Here’s a very professional drawing by me about how it works:
