I tried installing program on my Mac, it says that it is unsupported.
Its 13-inch, 2017 MacBook Pro with MacOS Ventura (latest) on it.
I tried opening it other way, it said app is damaged
[UPD] Found solution above. For others:
Download Source code and npm install electron into terminal (if not installed), then cd to folder of RoRender and type npm start to terminal. Also this instruction is located in README file.
just curious as to what’s the absolute limit on map size? i’ve found myself needing to render a 61k by 33k stud map and it keeps returning an http error 500 so i’ve found myself having to split it into chunks
An update to this, trying it on a WAY smaller map (813 x 1061) yielded a successful result. Beginning to think the map I’m trying to render is just too large.
I’m having an issue.
I create the settings, then load the settings, and then configure them. After, I press “Start Server,” and then I run the game. On the RoRender application, nothing happens. It’s just stuck at 0% and 00:00:00. Did I miss anything?
I managed to create a render of just the roads/buildings. It seemed my terrain was causing it. My laptop isn’t the most powerful piece of technology ever, but even when I asked my friend (with a far better PC) to render it for me, they had the exact same result, freezing in the same place every time
So short answer, not really, but I figured we could get by with just rendering the roads and buildings
