Moderator replies refer to unlisted rules

Hi there, I have received countless false moderation actions taken against my account regarding posts I made, but that’s not the point of this topic.

What I’m here to bring up is that the rules that moderators are attaching are outdated.

For the record, I made a post regarding a similar issue (that is now closed and unlisted) over 3 months ago.

I understand shifting internal systems is not instantaneous, however more care should be taken to train and provide adequate tools for situations where your ability to access a useful development tool is at risk.

And yes, I understand there’s a common consensus of “just don’t swear” even by Roblox’s own engineers. If moderation is not accurately representing the guidelines of the forum, that is a problem.

Hello Hooksmith, sorry for asking, it’s been around half a year since the new rules were announced, and this is getting pretty frustrating. Has there been any progress on the policy update?

Also, as said above, moderators are still taking down messages that contain indirect profanity in private categories. Is this a result of the same issue?

I checked in just now and the team is still working on it, they expect to have an update soon.

I don’t think so since the forum rules have already been updated previously. This feature request is just about the fact that some of the messaging the moderators use is outdated.

I can confirm this is still happening:

I was not even aware “same/similar post” was even a valid takedown reason considering I didn’t even get told what it was a duplicate of. The topic was up for 3 or so days before this happened so I’m kinda at a loss but this is slightly annoying.
