Welcome to the Nando’s Chicken Training Regulations. This guide will cover all the vital parts of a training session for both trainees and staff members.

As an awaiting training, in order to become staff, you must attend a training session. Trainings are hosted randomly throughout the day and are announced 15 minutes before the session is due to begin.

Trainees should join within these 15 minutes or else the server will be locked and you will be unable to join

The training sessions will be announced in our Discord Server as well as our Group Shouts by a member of the Nando’s Executive Team.

Here is the standard procedure you can expect as a trainee at a Nando’s Training:

  • Upon joining, you will be asked whether you are training for Chef or for Waiter
  • Once you are named, please remain seated and wait until the training start time arrives
  • Use this time to load up a form of notes to help you remember the information given
  • At the start time, listen to the rules and instructions of the host.
  • Once you have been lined up and sent off with your trainer, they will introduce themselves and go through your role in a set of 5 sections.
  • If you can successfully demonstrate your knowledge during the demonstration related to that section, you will pass that section of training
  • Pass 3 out of 4 sections in order to pass the training.

You may fail a training for one of the following reasons:

  • You did not have a secure enough understanding of the role to pass enough sections
  • You were warned 3 times during the training for breaking a rule given at the start of the session.
  • You continually ignored the host or trainers instructions.

If you happen to disconnect from the training for a reason out of your control, please DM the host of the training in our Discord Server and they will reopen the server for you to join.

In order to train, you must be ranked Lead Waiter/Chef or above.
The responsibility of a trainer is to guide the trainees through their job role and ensure they have a secure understanding of their duties and the rules as a member of staff.

Trainers should join as soon as they can once the training is announced and use the time before the session start time to prepare and answer trainee questions.

Once the training begins, the trainer should follow the hosts instructions and only take their trainees when told to do so.
