I think this is an excellent update, it’s really going to help!
It’s great that the device type is included in the feedback report, this is very useful information.
Since written feedback is only open to people 13+ and not everyone will actually give written feedback, would it be possible to include a general numbers breakdown of likes/dislikes per device type regardless of if written feedback is provided?
This could be additionally helpful. For example, if an experience is disproportionately collecting dislikes from phones or tablets, it could indicate that mobile compatibility is an issue and work needs to be done there.
This update looks great! However I’m not sure it’s okay the user’s name to not be displayed in the feedback. Also, it would be great if there were an option to delete feedback once it’s been reviewed!
It would be cool to have a favorites or pin system so we can keep the most important feedbacks highlighted at the top of the list and avoid losing them among all others. Because it can be a bit annoying to take multiple screenshots or copy-paste them into an external notepad.
This is awesome! I’ve read some of the feedback on my game and will now actually take action on the issues people are having! Before, I had no idea what the issue was!
This sounds really cool! I have a few questions though.
First, is there a way player could leave more feedbacks? There might be bugs occuring over time and one can’t detect them all at first. Not sure if it is possible rn (like player unvoting and then voting the experience again).
Second, could we get in-experience feedback promt as well? I’ve seen this being mentioned here already but I would like us, developers, to be able to prompt the system to show up the window as well. (Maybe even being able to detect when it is opened and when closed.)
The last thing is a little more robust/complicated. Do you think it would be possible to make something like threads? So that players could report bugs (or even suggest features even though bugs and errors are the main aim to me) in one place where developers could reply to them. It would be cool as well to let others see these threads as well in order to be able to add additional info if encouraging the same issue.
I’ve noticed during my quick look at the replies here that there are some security concerns and stuff I’m not really familiar with. It would be nice if this got integrated into Roblox so people don’t have to create accounts on other platforms just for the sake to report a bug but I will understand if you decide not to add this for safety/other reasons.
You are right, it definitely could. I remember hearing something about forums before but haven’t heard about them for a while and so assumed this is part of that feature, my bad .
If a player is going to leave a rating, they should be forced to leave a comment. I heavily suspect a lot of our downvotes came from players ragequitting the game (we got the wrong audience that found simple levels too difficult), but we have no way of concretely saying that is the case because players rarely leave comments if given the optional choice to.
Players being forced to leave a comment in order to upvote / downvote would be very helpful to developers as it gives us a clearer picture of what players like / dislike about the game.
This is delicate, particularly with negative feedback.
Consider this from the perspective of the person disliking. If I’m leaving a dislike, I’m probably already in a negative mindset. If in this mindset, you additionally force me to type in some feedback, this is going to create an even more negative experience, and I’m probably not going to be inclined to leave productive feedback.
This is an awesome feature! (ngl I was waiting for this for a few months now)
However, I love responding to my players, so could there be a way to respond to feedback soon?
It could also help clear some misunderstandings in the negative reviews or send thanks to positive reviews.
