Better left as an option set by the developer; if it is, then it would be a good addition.
well ofc, and i will take their feedback into mind. But even with good game design there will still be the occasional confused player. And u really probably could respond to every player that leaves feedback on smaller games.
awesome update. ***could there perhaps include an AI summary for problems in the future? *** @Kairomatic
because multiple games would HAVE to many reviews
Needs a bit of white-space: nowrap
Very good I like this very much. The more feedback and statistics developers get the better.
This update is good. It would have been much better if developers younger than 13 can see feedback on their experiences and under 13 users can post feedback on a experience. Its dumb that the feedback feature has to be for those 13 or older because the feature is just giving feedback on a experience you like. The feature should be out for all ages because under 13 users should be able to post feedback on a experience they like or dislike and under 13 developers should see the feedback on their experiences in order to see if the gameplay is good or not. (im honestly confused to whether the comments from the feedback feature will only be viewable to under 13 people and the 13+ people can comment in it or not.)
OH MY GOD LET’S GOOOO. One of the best Roblox updates ever. Now let’s hope there’ll be public reviews support next!
This is an amazing update but do something to ensure people know what they’re doing with the up/down votes because this is ridiculous
I’d love for an option to filter out spam suggestions, because I have not received any suggestion of value so far good or bad.
Amazing! This would help many creators improve their games through community feedback a lot easier!
W update
These 3 specs would be very good to help us with performance issues
- CPU Model (if available)
- GPU Name and VRAM (if available)
- Total RAM
It seems I can’t give feedback on games I have edit access to
Oh my god this is actually so good, I can finally get some feedback on why people leave a dislike, they rarely go to your social links to share their view so this is so huge
Agreed, we definitely want to add in support for more user metadata. What would you expect to see if we did show more info like playtime? And covered the request for a way to notify players in another reply - it is something we’ve considered and I’d love to see added in the future!
This is an intentional limitation for this feedback flow which I know isn’t ideal for cases like this where people end up reporting bugs through the ratings feedback. I think this ends up happening because there isn’t any other obvious spot for someone to report or they may just want to vent/justify their rating in addition to reporting somewhere else. Ideally, long term, we would also have a more consistent place for players to report bugs like this.
Mentioned at the bottom of the post - currently only in app but we’re rolling it out to web very soon as well!
Not currently something we are looking at but I’ll pass this feedback along to the team who oversees experience ratings.
Great idea. We plan to add more ways to filter in a future update, I’ll note this for the team to look into. Thanks for the feedback!
We plan to look at other ways to represent / filter the data in future updates. One odd note is you may see people leaving feedback from one device but playing on another since this is collected at time of rating, not from inside the experience.
We don’t have plans to make it mandatory, but I totally feel your pain. I hope that those who do decide to leave feedback can help confirm your suspicions and give you an idea of how your could improve.
Addressed this some in a previous reply New Feedback Dashboard - See Detailed Feedback from Your Community - #41 by Kairomatic
Some sort of feedback loop would be awesome but we want to be careful that this doesn’t become a new “inbox” or something that could stoke emotions too much in a bad way. I’d hope most folks would approach it like trying to clear up a misunderstanding, but I think in some cases it could be more valuable to try to take it as an opportunity to have empathy for HOW the player ended up having that misunderstanding. For example, maybe there’s something confusing in the UI that’s tripping them up (and most likely there are lots of other players feeling the same who didn’t take the time to leave a comment)
Are you still hitting this issue? Could you tell me a bit more if so? As for your other reply, the doc site had a temporary hiccup so this should be back up and working. Let me know if you’re still hitting the 404, it could require a browser cache reset to fix!
The feature is already great for getting actionable feedback, but would personally love to see:
- Playtime stat / How long the player played for (helps in narrowing down where exactly they left / what point in the game caused them to leave).
- If applicable, the Onboarding Funnel step number that the player was on when they left the feedback. Idea being that we can identify portions of our onboarding funnel that players feel very strongly about and review what we can do there to ease things up.
- Performance stats for the player. Non-identifying metrics like average framerate while playing, specific device type (i.e. instead of iPhone it could be iPhone 11) and average memory usage. I know some other folks in this thread also mentioned more specific specs like CPU model/name so I’d like to +1 that as well.
Trying to spitball ideas here whilst heeding to the notion that nothing shown on this page can link back to a user - it’s honestly tricky Regardless there’s so much potential with this feature and I can’t wait to see what the team cooks up next with this!
