After the recent update, everything that was longer than 9-10 letters will end with three dots (…). Because of that, the + (add item button) just disappearing. Help!
As you can see, + button after the name is almost disappeared, and if you’ll name it longer than just StarterPack, the + item button will disappear and you won’t be able to use Roblox Studio.

This update is really stupid, just because there’s a lot of new bugs.

I’m just going to copy a reply I sent on another topic similar to this:
Hi, yes this is a Bug Report that has been reported:
with the latest Roblox studio update my explorer is being truncated way to far to the left, and makes it much more awkward to use as i am constantly having to resize my windows instead of leaving them where they are as i usually do. this occurs anywhere inside of the latest studio release. [2024-07-11_23-45-20] OS: Windows 11 24H2 latest stable studio release: no beta features Expected behavior I expect it to only start truncating near the very end of the explorer, near the scrollbar. A Roblox staff has responded to the report, saying:
A bit of a non-update, but according to the team that owns the flag, this is an intentional design choice as part of the new package improvements, so they’ve currently decided to not roll this back.
They said they will prioritize addressing community feedback on it though - if ya’ll have any, this announcement post is prob a good place to send it.
Sorry for not being able to do more to help with this at the moment!
Basically, this was an intentional design choice, and it will not be rolled back unless there were a sufficient number of community members that left feedback about this issue.
Someone did find a temporary fix for the issue, until the issue gets officially resolved:
HOW TO OVERRIDE
This behavior is triggered by the FFlag ExplorerPackageIconColumn2
. To override this I downloaded Roblox Studio Mod Manager , opened it and clicked the Edit Fast Flags
button, waited for it to download the files required for what it does, and then entered the FFlag in the search field, selected the FFlag and clicked Override.
After that, I launched it from the mod manager and that worked.
