The blurriness could be the bloom effect under lighting
A big reason why the old baseplate is so great is it adds minimal âstartingâ content (i.e. I can just delete the baseplate and I have a blank place.) Will the old baseplate still be an option or will it be removed eventually?
It doesnât sound like something that took a long time to complete. I was able to upgrade my game in a matter of minutes. I am grateful to absorb the recommended settings.

I donât think Roblox needed a new baseplate. This baseplate will be lagging older computers since shadows are enabled and maps are quite large.

The previous baseplate also had ShadowMaps enabled, btw!

If I recall, a lot of devs were getting upset about the baseplate considering how it was super inaccurate when measuring modern parts. I think this update will be very well received, since a lot of devs have been waiting for something to happen to the baseplate anyways, but it will definitely take a little while to get used to if it becomes the default.

Doesnât look bad to be honest. It has a very nice, modern feel to it which I think will make future developers more into roblox studio simply by the way their game begins off with.

Oh finally! One of the things that is never talked about is the baseplate. Luckily you guys noticed that it was finally time for a change and you decided to get to work to make the good olâ baseplate better. Gonna try it out as soon as possible.

Fun fact about this new baseplate.
I found it in a Discord server then converted it into concrete with a better color then someone took that model I made and made it into a plugin.

The new baseplate looks really good! Roblox is becoming more modern, and this is a great addition for that. Also, the Skybox change was really needed.

It was about time the good old Baseplate got an upgrade! Iâm gonna miss the old Baseplate.
Anyways, this is a lot better than the old Baseplate. I like how thereâs an SpawnLocation thatâs been added to the new Baseplate because everytime you play test in the old Baseplate, youâre always free falling and you had to add the SpawnLocation yourself. I also like the new sky as well! I wonder if newer templates are being made.

Tbh its better to keep an option to if u want old or new cuz ik some people will miss the old one and yeah i think you should change the sky it looks kinda odd in my opinion
