Not exactly sure what is causing this, but some instances don’t appear in the Explorer, only search. I’ve disabled any potential culprit plugins, but the issue seems to be with the Explorer.

Well not only is it a duplicate without a value, you also missed a comma. Do you have a type error with the legacy explorer?
It happens when I drag the Script Editor out of the Studio Frame and to a 2nd monitor. The Script Window is also very glitchy as I’ve shown in the post
Ctrl + F immediately stops working, no matter how often I press it
Sometimes it fixes itself though, when I take the focus off the Script Editor & focus back on it with my mouse. It also fixes itself when I drag the Script Editor back to the Studio Frame, but I want to have it on my 2nd monitor in certain instances
Other keybinds seem to work though, not sure about each one, but the basics seem to always work e.g. Copy/Paste, Zoom
Edit: The script window seems to be unchanged, but the Explorer etc are vastly different
The new explorer is quite buggy, the plus icon is overlapping with the name.
yes, that is because it crashed while working on it. but thank you for your assistance.
Also, shortcuts like ctrl+d dont work.
is there any way to view object orientation with this? if not, could it be added?
I still experience this issue where for no apparent reason the hotkeys just stop working or start working on the new explorer.
This really affects my workflow in some scenarios and is really annoying to work with.
The issue with hotkeys being unusable in a script editor still persists.
I have just opted out of new explorer just because of these issues. Hopefully these issues will be resolved in the future, as this is really detrimental to me.
This option is still available in the 3d viewport context menu. Do you have a use case where it’s awkward to do this from the 3d viewport?
how do you make a new explorer and still have the bug where when you select an instance from search, then delete the search text to view that selected instance’s hierarchy, it sometimes goes to the explorer scrolling frame canvas position at the top so u have to scroll down to find the selected instance. what are we doing in 2025
clean ui tho
We have a fix for this in flight already.
Hey, just wanted to share a small but annoying issue with the new Explorer.
When I create a new ModuleScript (or any instance), I usually jump straight into writing some boilerplate. Later, I hit F2 to rename it, but unless the Explorer is in focus, it doesn’t work. Even if the instance is clearly selected, I still have to manually refocus the Explorer (usually via Alt+X twice) just to rename it.
This really breaks the flow, especially if you rely on keyboard shortcuts. Would love if F2 could just work as long as something is selected in Explorer, even if the script editor is currently focused.
Small tweak, big quality-of-life boost.
A friend of mine is having a bug where randomly folds will not longer expand properly anymore.
Ahh didn’t realize studio crashed when you were just typing, I thought it was an issue running the code or something.
This has still not been fixed.
“Today”, It’s been a bug since the last explorer and is highly inconsistent.
Not sure if this has been reported yet but leaving it here anyway, can we get the property auto complete to sort based on what is closest to what you are typing? When I press enter to search it changes it to false which I didn’t want
I want to report that in many situations the keyboard shortcuts for the selected instances stops working, for exemple pressing “Del” while something is selected wont do anything, Ctrl+C to group wont do anything, no shortcut work, so i have to right-click it and select the option from the popup menu instead, its been pretty annoying.
I assume you mean Ctrl-G to group–are these all with the script editor open? That’s the bug we’re aware of
The fixes to box select were released that same day–make sure your Explorer version is up to date by closing all Studios and restarting. The current latest version is 0.25.
