NSTN Moderation Guidelines

STAFF EXPECTATIONS

Staff are expected to represent Halifax Transit in a well maintained manner, Meaning:

  • Do not name call any players anywhere on our Platform.
  • Do not troll in game.
  • Do not use admin or other staff privilege’s in an abusive form.
  • Do not wear troll outfits while fulfilling your duties at Halifax Transit. ( Clothing that is Not appropriate ie. Hairy Leg Pants. )
  • When someone is challenging to deal with, keep your composure.
  • Always try to use /e before commands of the command bar to avoid staff commands being displayed in chat.

Usage Of Vehicles:

  • Always drive responsibly.
  • Do not drive off road or speed for no reason.
  • Do not steal players vehicles.
  • Do not use vehicles to obstruct or impact players experience. ( Unless in an event or Roleplay situation )

Respect:

  • You must always show respect to Halifax Transit staff members.
  • You must always be respectful to Halifax Transit players.
  • You should show a respectful manner in general. ( ie. In DMs, other communities. )

STAFF EQUIPMENT GUIDELINES

Usage of Building Tools / Btools:

  • The main purpose for Btools is to spawn a part in to attempt to move a bus that is stuck.
  • Adding fire or creating situations in game for an event / Roleplay.
    You should never:
  • Use Btools to destroy the game.
  • Use Btools to deface or debrand HT assets ( ie. Buses, cars, signage. ) ( Unless for an event or Roleplay )
  • Use Btools to resize any vehicle ( causes them to break apart )
  • Use Btools for any trolling, unnecessary usage, or any situation where it will impact the other players experience poorly.

Usage of Admin Perms:

  • Warn players for violations of the games.
  • Ban exploiters.
  • Watching and observation
  • Assisting in game.
  • Inserting staff vehicles.

You should Never:

  • Fling people
  • Bring people without checking they are not in a bus.
  • use explode or nuke
  • blind users
  • use other abusive commands.
  • use admin to disrupt players experience.
  • ban, kick or warn falsely.

GAME MODERATION PROCESS

Minor Rule Violations

Process is to be followed, even for second, third bans etc.

    1. One Verbal Chat Warning
    1. One Adonis Warning
    1. Two kick warnings
    1. 1 Day Time Ban ( Second Ban: 7 Day, Third Ban: 14 Day… Cont… )

Note: Reckless Drivers - After following Step One, use Btools to delete the bus they are driving if they are continuing to drive recklessly. Repeat this process after each step in which they continue.

Examples Of Minor Rule Violations

  • Chat spam
  • Spawn Spam
  • Reckless Driving
Moderate Rule Violations

Process is to be followed, even for second, third bans etc.

    1. One Adonis Warning
    1. One kick warning
    1. 3 Day Time Ban ( Second Ban: 7 Day, Third Ban: 14 Day… Cont… )

Examples Of Moderate Rule Violations

  • Disrespecting Staff
  • Theft Of Staff Vehicles
  • Disrupting Others Game play purposely
  • Excessive Trolling
Major Rule Violations

Process is to be followed, even for second, third bans etc.

    1. One Adonis Warning
    1. One Kick warning
    1. 14 Day Time Ban ( Second Ban: 30 Day, Third Ban: 45 Day… Cont… )

Examples Of Major Rule Violations

  • Bypassing chat filter
  • Playing inappropriate audio with boombox
  • Trying to create chaos / major blockage or pile up
Extreme Rule Violations
    1. PERM BAN

Examples Of Extreme Rule Violations

  • Raiding
  • Exploiting
  • 6 Moderate Violation Bans within a 12month Period OR 3 Major Violation Bans within 12month Period
    ( Jan 1st - Dec 31st )
