Are there going to be applications for RDC in person this year,
Last year I had plans to go before the decision to go all virtual, but while many of my friends and close acquaintances went, I never received an invite for last year?

Nope, I am almost positive RDC is 13+. Only the accelerator program (which doesn’t have anything to do with RDC) is 18+ which is where I think you got that from.

In previous years RDC has been 13+ with a chaperone, and I believe 16+ without one.

Wow I wish I could attend in-person, but I live in Ontario and that flight would be a pain. Plus I’m 15 and I don’t think I have the money to go. I think I’ll stick to virtual, can’t wait to attend my first RDC, virtual, but that’s ok!

Unfortunately, I cannot come and attend to San Francisco. I have to transfer which is a pain even though where I transfer is near the border of my country which also makes it cost almost $1000 which I would not pay for.
For the time being I might only watch a bit of it because I live 9 hours before San Francisco so when the show starts it’s about dinner time for me and might miss a few hours.
Anyways good luck people who are going to San Francisco!
