Could the terrain api changes be game breaking? I just want to know, just incase.

From my cursory readings, it should support both the old names and the new, clearer names.

I feel like this is more of an engine bug, but since I can’t post there I’ll be posting here. It’s pretty much the title, when a particle emitter isnt enabled and you try to emit particles with “:Emit()” nothing happens. It worked fine before the update, so is this an engine bug or something else? Thanks.
Connected to this update likely? Let me know if anyone finds something.

When are y’all going to fix this?! It’s too major to put off in my opinion.
Hello all,
Recently, my game’s servers have been crashing due to the server hitting the 6.25 GB limit in server memory. I was concerned there may have been a possible memory leak with this, so I decided to test things into my own hands. When viewing active servers’ memory, I realized that (as usual) server memory increases when players spawn cars. I wasn’t exactly concerned with this itself, but what does concern me is the fact that the server memory does not go down when the car is destroyed. …
The memory from destroyed objects doesn’t get subtracted from the total server memory, which eventually can lead to server crashing. Read more in the post above.

Hello Creators!
Today, we’re adding a new opt-in behavior that automatically destroys Player and Character Instances on the server when the player leaves or respawns.
We will be rolling this feature out in three stages:
1. Today: PlayerCharacterDestroyBehavior is set to Default, which behaves the same as Disabled, the new behavior is now opt-in.
2. Early 2024: Default behavior is updated to behave the same as Enabled, the new behavior is now opt-out.
3. Mid 2024: We will remove the PlayerCh…

Have we got any insight into whether pathfinding not working on new terrain is confirmed in next weeks release notes, or if it is just a rough estimate?

Never heard of AudioEmitters and Wires. When was this added and what will its purpose be for?

There is an issue with the drafts mode for duplicating scripts which I haven’t seen anyone report.
Drafts must be on for this.
. Open a script which already previously has commits to it
. Modify the code
. Duplicate the script instance
. Open the duplicated version and it’s the same as the last committed version instead of it being the same as the latest uncommitted version.
I posted this here as I cannot post to #bug-reports

Its the new audio api announced at RDC last year it’s much more capable than the current sound instances, you can just search audio on the docs and find all of the new audio instances.
