Does StudioService.GetClassIcon
fetch the image from Custom Icon Directory or from Default icons only
I remember this used to be in #feature-requests:xbox-features
Adds Texture Generator plugin to Studio.
This seems interesting, is there going to be an announcement or other news regarding this?
Based on that we have a way to bulk get badges now, could we have a way to bulk get user ranks in a group? As currently using GetGroupsAsync for every player to have an up to date version of a players rank isnt that ideal.
As if I only used GetRankInGroup, because of its caching if a players rank changes while they are in game they would have to rejoin for in-game group based permissions. This already exists with open clouds group api but doesnt exist in GroupService currently.
These are just warnings, as passing a non-string type into FindFirstChild or WaitForChild is the wrong type for the function and should probably be corrected for new work.
can you guys ping me when CheckUserBadgesAsync drops plz, thats hype
From my testing it only returns default icons.
confused what this is as isn’t there already a material generator and I couldn’t find a Texture generator button anywhere
Hello, I don’t know if this release is related, but since Friday (2 days ago), there are issues in my game, with parts not streaming in? Even though the last update with big changes has been 7 days ago on Sunday.
Before friday there were 0 Reports on this issue.
Weirdly enough, this issue has also been there around the 9th February, where we also had dozens of reports incoming, but this issue has back then only lasted 1-3 days and has then randomly disappeared without an update until now.
As you can see in the image, there are parts sometimes not streaming in into the lobby, into the Maps etc.
+1 with this our game also started having this issue as well for time being we switched from opportunistic to low memory and its good alternative for now.
What… WHY?!?!
Isn’t that how 95% of people build? This seems like one of those completely reasonless changes that we are so familiar with.
The buttons better not get removed from the Quick Access Tool Bar, because those are all I ever use, and have done so since Studio was first invented (My studio is configured to resemble the old old Studio, I hate the ribbon bar setup and keep it hidden). Developing would be just about impossible for my workflow if they get removed.
This issue seems to be resolved:
“Adds Texture Generator plugin to Studio.”
How this tool can be accessed ?
is there a way to do this, but for API services? such as datastores?
@DieselElevatorsRBLX The change won’t be going through right now. Your use case is being discussed internally.
Thanks for voicing your opinion .
Thank you for hearing! It’s very nice to know that we do get heard here. It’s one of those little reminders I need to experience sometimes. I was curious if the removal was regarding the visual grid that Studio can place down, or if it was the actual action of moving parts via the buttons I described in my slightly too harsh post. I do hope these actions can be kept, I know I am not the only one who uses them, and I cannot see why having them would cause any problems within the program. Though, I am not a software designer, so I’m not sure how all of that works
There are issues with models randomly disappearing in my maps and others. Been happening off and on for about a year now. Unanchored objects, like vehicles, or even just an unanchored solid model (no constraints/joints) will just randomly disappear during gameplay. I wonder if these issues are related?
