Roblox Experience Chat causes extreme frame drops for a few seconds randomly

This started occurring around three weeks ago. I randomly get huge frame spike drops that last about 1-2 seconds. It appears that the problem is coming from the built-in chat window. It appears that it is a big block of a metric ton of TextTransparency and BackgroundTransparency changes.

In the hangout game On Tap, we are noticing that the CoreScript ExperienceChatMain is taking a lot of CPU time on the Heartbeat event. On the Meta Quest 2 and my BlackBerry KEY2 (Snapdragon 660), the Heatbeat event is taking 15ms to process, and nearly 9ms on my AMD R7 3700X desktop.
