OMG thank you so much, yes it does still happen, but rarely
Still happening! I notice it occurs in some games more than others. However in saying this the issue seems to not be replicable.
I’m submitting crash dumps and crash reports to the bug files page. For those of you who still experience this issue, I strongly recommend you read this article and submit your own reports to the mentioned page above (and link this page).
System info (format following that of How to post a Bug Report - #15 by Roblox):
Windows 10
Intel(R) Core™ i7-4790CPU @ 3.60GHz
16.0 GB DDR3
BT58SSD12S
I should note this seems to only happen on Windows 10 devices. Still occuring.
I’ve found the root to the issue. I’m using a Nvidia graphics driver and I basically rolled back every update up until May 18 2021 and it works completely. I also noticed that instead of the game completely freezing like what used to have happened, it just spikes for like half a second. So what I’m getting from this is that your connectivity can be unstable at a certain moment of time which inevitably causes the freezing. And that whole issue is caused by something roblox-related or graphics related because the freezing has been happening in studio as well.
NOTE: I’ve played roblox for a couple months since I’ve done this and my game hasn’t froze since.
