Sir can you please tell your supervisors to roll back the update. It’s clearly not ready yet and will make the UX a lot better.
It would be better if there was a way to Opt-out of the version with the hyperion client on roblox so some people who has zero idea on why the roblox client keeps crashing (i have seen many people talk about this on many discord servers im in) can just play normally by opting-out.
After the version with the Hyperion Client is stable, you can just force the update on all Roblox Clients.
My Roblox has been doing this also, it doesn’t happen every single time but it does crash. No error message or anything, quite annoying.
Anyone else also having it get fixed every Wednesday? For some reason, every Wednesday it fixes it, and then the Wednesday after that breaks it again, and so forth. I just hope next Wednesday it doesn’t break again for me.

Clean boot and fresh install cause it to happen also.
For 2 weeks i cannot use Roblox.
And on the Roblox “down detector” website there are hundreds of reports a day. This all started with the Byfron 64-bit update and Roblox support just keeps gaslighting me and saying i just need to restart my computer.
Maybe when they lose money from all the users not able to play, then they will roll back thr update
Was working fine for me today for around an hour and a half before breaking again after it not working for two weeks, only way I’m able to join is with the microsoft app but that’s buggy. it gets fixed relatively soon

A defining “feature” of this particular issue is that the game just halts or closes, and thus there is no error message or crash report; I have looked at the logs stored in AppData
for the relevant sessions and they simply end without any special message. Ex:

Besides stepping through the program and telling you when it stops working, I don’t think there’s any more information to give.. where else are logs kept?
Otherwise, this seems to line up with the description of how Hyperion would “consistently terminate the client” if it decided to. 64-bit pre-byfron builds should definitely have been rolled out first to eliminate any coincidences there.

I am experiencing crashes constantly now. I will be playing for a minute or two, and then the classic “We’re sorry!” message pops up, or the game freezes and that happens. Never had problems before.

Basically not that I’ve been crashing specifically, but I’ve noticed the more you open robloxplayer launcher right as its about to load the robloxplayerbeta.dll the more unstable your PC becomes and that’s when the potential crashing begins.
I used LatencyMon to preview the anomalies and I noticed the NT Kernel begins to spike horribly especially the more you keep opening ROBLOX, just in case if it wasn’t just me I had my other friends test the same theory and yeah same thing happens to them.
Ok so im trying on my laptop and there are no logs, brcause it does not crash. It just won’t open at all.
The process is running but won’t load.

But on my PC with Windows 7, Roblox will actually start up, but crashes seconds after joining a game, and it does create a log. Ill go on there tomorrow and get the info from that.

still happens, i tried everything that most posts suggest you to try (restarting, reinstalling, clean boot)
seems there is nothing i can do beside wait for roblox to fix itself
I’m having similar issues to the players above, says starting roblox and crashes on launch was fixed when Bitdancer said that they did a rollback but after the rollback they released a update that brought back the problem
bitdancer, my case is even weirder.
i opened roblox and it told me roblox has crashed and it has generated a memory dump (from hyperion i suppose) (i have saved the dump file into here so you can download it)
the dump file has nothing but chinese text that translate to absolutely gibberish:
then after that, everytime i open roblox, it’s either not gonna do nothing or give me this instead:
i tried reinstalling, deleting the files, rebooting, updating drivers… nothing works…
