Roblox process crashes after few seconds after launch.

Before circa 3/20, ROBLOX worked great for me. I was using Bloxstrap to play ROBLOX. However, my ROBLOX client stopped working on 3/20. It launched the process in Task Manager (RobloxPlayerBeta.exe), then exited itself after 3 seconds. I’ve looked around on other forum posts, and I can’t find a solution that works for me. I don’t use a steering wheel as many people have described before, and it may be an hidden issue that I just can’t seem to figure out. I cleared the Thumbnails cache as well. I tried to uninstall Bloxstrap and ROBLOX studio to no avail, the issue still persists on the stock install.

I do have ROBLOX extensions on web; however, I am very sure that this is NOT the cause.

My Repro steps:

  1. Launch ROBLOX from the play button on web
  2. Process starts
  3. Process kills

System Information:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core processor
48GB DDR4 2133 MT/s Corsair Vengence LPX RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with Game Ready Driver 572.83
Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (NOT INSIDER)

Before this screenshot, I redownloaded ROBLOX many times (clearing out AppData, registry entries, etc; a full cleanout) and I got nothing. Only \Temp logs. After opening the \Temp RobloxPlayerInstaller, it now shows this screen for a few seconds then does the same behavior.

Here is the screen I get now when launching. Before, I used to get nothing:
(this is after using the installer in \Temp location)

Considering wiping windows. I did NOT try Step #2 in this forum.
UWP App (windows store) ROBLOX still works perfectly. On my phone, I can also play ROBLOX. It’s only on my PC I can’t.

Expected behavior

ROBLOX would launch and allow me to play games.

Have you tried setting the clock time on your PC by a day? I see you have been able to run Roblox on PC just fine before but usually that’s the common solution for Roblox crashing on Windows 11.

Like add a day when changing the time and see if your Roblox still crashes. If it does stop, wait up to 24-36 hours before setting the time back.

Didn’t help, but thanks for suggesting that. I saw that as other peoples solutions, but I think this problem varies between person and situation!
