So about 2~ days ago my roblox player stopped working all together, studio is fine and so is the microsoft version (i dislike it and dont wanna use it bc my mouse goes off screen when shiftlocked on there)
BUT
I’ve tried reinstalling numerous times (even older installer version from 2018 and even 2016(unfortinately not a supported installer anymore) )
clearing cashe
updating windows
updating drivers
windows compatibility
removing anything like MSI afterburner or already known issues with the AntiCheat
sfc /scannow
And i’ve never added things to my files (for example: BloxStrap) so my files arent modded in any way or form
like it randomly stopped working at all
I have a laptop which is running the same windows 11 version and it works perfectly fine on there without any issues
Specs:
Windows 11 Home version 10.0.26100 Build 26100
Ryzen 5 3600
Radeon RX 6600 8GB
32GB DDR4
B550M PRO-VDH (Fully up-to-date bios)
the process that happends when i try to click:
Click on player
Opens in background
Closes (or gets suspended)
and gone
Have you tried manually deleting Roblox from %localappdata%? Can you check if Roblox launches on another desktop screen? (check Task View on your taskbar) Can you try deleting the folder on your main computer and transplanting a copy of the folder that your laptop uses?
tried that too so many times, anything in appdata even related to roblox i had deleted.
and roblox process gets ended too fast for me to click on it in task manager or anything.
i can try to copy the roblox folder to my laptop to see if anything is different, i’ll keep you up to date
Okay so i’ve copied to files from my pc to my laptop and it works fine on my laptop no issues. i’ve also tried copying the roblox folder to my pc from my laptop and it still doesnt launch on my pc
yeah funny thing, since it doenst offically crash it just closes. it doesnt create any log file or crash file. besides the instalation log which was successful there is nothing else.
