Rotrends – research what's trending on Roblox

Rotrends (Beta) – research what’s trending on Roblox

It’s really hard to predict which experiences will perform well on Roblox. When an experience does perform well, it’s hard to understand why. These are some of the questions we’re working on making it easy to answer with Rotrends.

FAQs

How is Rotrends different than Rolimons and Romonitor?

Unlike Rolimons and Romonitor that provide data primarily on individual experiences and avatar items, Rotrends aims to provide platform-level insights on trends and help you dig into what’s driving them.

Is Rotrends free?

Yep!

What is the on the Rotrends roadmap?

Generally, we have a lot more planned to make Rotrends easier to use, more actionable, discoverable, and trustworthy.

Soon we’re adding new metrics that provide better insight into what it is trending and sustaining that growth.

When will Rotrends get mobile support?

This is on our roadmap, but we don’t yet have an eta. We are prioritizing first making Rotrends a powerful analysis tool and then will prioritize making it more easily usable across devices.

Where does Rotrends data come from?

Rotrends relies on public data collected from Roblox. We will never use any private data to power any of our features.

Who created Rotrends?

Rotrends is created by Super Biz. We create a variety of tools for Roblox developers.

What API are you hitting to retrieve the data for genres?

I run a Deathmatch Shooter game that should be showing up on the genre list based on active player count, but isn’t. Should be right around where Deadline is. I’m also unable to find it when searching experiences.

Game: [NEW GUN] Combat Arena - Roblox
Where it should be showing up: https://rotrends.com/experiences?category=genre:sub:Deathmatch%20Shooter

Curious to know more so I can figure out if Roblox isn’t providing data on our experience for some reason.

There is a limitation we’re working through where some games don’t show up because of their age rating – working on fixing this soon!

To put it simply

Awesome :sunglasses:

This is by far the best site for monitoring Roblox Games and other stats! Great website!

We have the same age rating as most of the other games in this genre (Mild for Violence). Did you identify that as the issue for my specific game, or is that a more general issue that could have been related?

Should be there now.

The issue was that some experiences don’t show up in sorts unless you’re logged in.

Glad to hear it. Let me know if you have any other feedback

I would love to see ranking numbers on the side so that we can track performance and positional changes in the specific sort we’re viewing against other games. Something like this:

You have a rank option, but I believe it’s a global ranking (not very clear, as another point of feedback)

On it. We’re planning to add sort-specific ranks and will have charts.

Great work.

I had a question about information you scrape, how did you manage to collect data for 50k experiences?

We just added a ranking list to each experience so you can quickly see what Sorts an experience is in and their rank in those Sorts.

We made a few updates to the Rankings card.
