Attending RDC has become one of my favorite times of year in recent history, starting with my first one in 2018. I am extremely excited for the change in venue and looking forward greatly to this year’s event! I sympathize for the international community who will have a much tougher time attending if at all, and I hope something is in the works for them. However if anyone is still hesitant about attending, this event changed my life and career, and it is capable of doing the same to you! should definitely go if possible

just one question though - is ping pong making a return?

Like to second this. There was a lot of criticism about short notice last year. Thanks for providing the dates in advanced, hopefully this will give developers enough time to plan their trip and attend.

There’s definitely problems with low-quality responses on the DevForum, but I’d like to point out that there are measures specifically put in place to prevent people posting low-quality replies from becoming full Members; please don’t accuse any full members of doing such things in threads like these. It’s better to take any concerns you have about any people in particular to DMs to resolve them in a non-escalatory manner :slightly_smiling_face:

Would be nice to have another RDC event in Europe like in 2018 (Amsterdam). Maybe RDC 2021 could also be hosted in Amsterdam or London they are both cities that have alot of hostels and hotels and most of the time you can go there really cheap (Europe).

As all the jelly EU devs stated above including me, it would be not only some great news but something that we can’t even express with words.

Having an EU RDC would be definitely the best thing ever. I’m looking forward to attending one of these. I’m not losing hope, i’ll wait for it patiently even though i’m really excited. :open_mouth:

Definitely worth a shot! I was what you would call a “new” new member when I sent in my application and I was accepted. I’d say it is based on your content and contributions to the PLATFORM not just the forums.

I honestly am pretty disappointed in Roblox, I’d love to go to a RDC but I- (and many others) do not have the money to fly over to the US for a few days.

Really hope to see RDC EU in 2020/2021.

Yep! I was in the same boat, but sent in some of the stuff I’d worked on and they seemed pleased with it. Just show you can do something and I’d say you have a pretty good chance!
