[1.0 | Introduction]
This section covers the restrictions, limitations, and laws placed upon the S & V Grade of Celvestia and what their tasks and capabilities are. It will list some of the procedures associated with their respective grades as well. However, due to the maximum character limit for the Universal Decree document I had to move this section to a separate thread entirely. Hope there’s no inconveniences!
[2.0 | Celvestian Philosophy]
“Even the darkest of warriors have a heart of gold.”
“We’re a family. We’re a game studio. We’re war enthusiasts. We’re a role play group. We’re a community. We’re a hangout. We’re everything. We’re Celvestia.”
[3.0 | UD Section 3.2]
NOTE: This is a part of the Universal Decree.
S & V Laws
Training’s can only be cancelled if there’s less than 5 members for more than 20 minutes. If it’s a joint event and there isn’t enough members then you must consult the representative for the ally at the event before cancelling the event. If the host needs to go offline for a real-life reason they must find an immediate replacement. If the host crashes and/or is unable to continue hosting the event for whatever reason they must find a replacement.
Admin abusing is not tolerated in any degree whatsoever at official events. Doesn’t matter if you’re on or off-duty. This also includes Discord Admin and Moderator privileges. You are to never abuse your Discord abilities to take advantage of anyone or the server itself. You use it according to the rules and guidelines set in-place for you to follow. The only time it will ever be allowed is if the event is over and you ask permission from a Venerian Grade member if it’s allowed. If a Venerian Grade member is not present then you may ask the highest Siderian Grade member present. If no one is present then you are not allowed to take advantage of your admin abilities. First offense will be a temporary removal of your admin for the rest of the day. Second offense is a demotion. Third offense is the removal of your position from either the Venerian or Siderian Grade and being placed back into the Soradyne Core to be taught how to use the admin properly. Fourth offense is a blacklist from becoming anything higher than a [M3] Sisteria.
Be a role model. Do not be overly immature unless you’re allowed to at the given event. Always present yourself as professional before considering acting immature.
You can only become a Siderian Grade member once you’ve stated your Oath and gone through the Soradyne Core. This is aimed towards Gradastians.
You will be removed from your position if you fail to complete the tasks of your given rank.
Venerian Grade members are given a two-week max inactivity period before they must come back. If they’re gone for any longer they will be replaced and will not be able to get their position for sometime. If they do go absent for the two-week period we will have someone cover your position until you come back.
The current Venerius in-power can veto any law at any given time if deemed necessary.
Favoritism, biased attitudes, and other behaviors that deem you unfit for your position will have you demoted from your position. First offense is a warning. Second offense is a removal from your current position.
Venerian and Siderian Grade members have the possibility of being voted out of their position if over 30 people sign off on a vote to have them removed. Once there’s 30 people that have voted it will be brought up to the Venerian and Siderian Grade to be discussed. With the proper evidence and factual statements and reasoning we will then dictate if this is the best choice of action to take.
Divisions can be created by Gradastians, Siderian, and Venerian Grade members with the permission of TheCelvestian if you wish to make it official. However, you’re more than welcome to create an unofficial division for yourself and a group of people.
The host of an event has the authority over Siderian and Venerian Grade members. However, if they’re caught breaking a law they will be replaced with another host then approached on the matter.
The Venerian Grade can pass new laws with the approval of the Venerius himself and can choose to have the Siderian Grade participate as well for further more opinions.
The Venerian Grade has the power to vote-kick any member of the higher grades if they’re failing to meet their duties. However, the person that is being voted out can make a case against the Venerian Grade members and it will be brought to the Venerius for final judging.
It is your job as a Siderian/Venerian Grade member (or even Gradastian) to interfere in any arguments, deal with any troublemakers, assist people who have questions or concerns, and so on. You’re a role model, remember that. Celvestians are looking up to you so act the part and do your job.
Be active. Siderian Grade members and Gradastians are expected to be hosting actively and consistently. Venerian Grade members aren’t expected to host daily, however, they’re expected to host occasionally due to the nature of their jobs.
You must work together. Cooperation and communication is key. If there’s any dysfunction within the higher grades then it will be addressed immediately and dealt with in a proper matter to sort out any dramas, issues, and/or concerns.
Do not try to help the host by force. You must ask them permission first to see if they’re interested in letting you assist them. However, if they say no then you must resume training as it were before. One more note to make: If you see that the event is becoming too chaotic and messy and the host is refusing to let you help them then you may initiate an emergency take-over (if allowed by the majority of the people at the event) to fix the event. Do not get this mixed up with the first part of the law. If the event is running fine and the host says no to any additional help then you are required to continue the event as it were before.
You shouldn’t be using any command at training’s specifically unless you’re a co-host or the host her/himself. If you are caught using commands illegally then you will face the consequences accordingly.
Don’t use the ‘:M’ command or any messaging command for pointless and redundant messages. Only the host should be using this command first of all and second of all it should only be used professionally.
The only command you are granted to use during training’s is the “:PM” command if it’s absolutely necessary.
This is towards the host: do not repeat the same event more than three times. You’re allowed three of the same event before you have to switch. So you can have three back-to-back TDM’s but then you’ll need to switch up. Do at least 2 more different activities before going back to the TDM in this case. This is to avoid making the event boring and repetitive because I’ve seen people do like 10 ghost events in a row and it made half the server leave.
Do not promote people based on favoritism. Lets say your friend is asking you to promote them and they under-performed at the event. You will NOT promote them. Period. End of story.
This ties into law 17. If a host clearly doesn’t know what they’re doing and the event is a living nightmare then one of the HR’s at the event is required to help assist the host and correct them on their mistakes. This also applies to M4 Supervision.
Do not use your position of authority to take advantage of anyone or anything both within and outside of Celvestia whether it may be monetary or personal gain.
Case appeals can only take place if the offense is above level 3 (with some level 2 exceptions).
If anyone during a case appeal is lying then they will be banned for 3 days from group activities as well as a 1 month suspension from joining other cases.
Case appeals evidence should mostly be pictures and videos (basically solid evidence that we can view).
Witnesses of a case appeal must only state what they’ve witnessed and not their own personal opinion. If they’re deemed too opinionated then they will be removed.
In a scenario where one side, or both, don’t have the proper people needed to represent them then a S & V Grade member may step in to present their case (and they must not be connected to the incident).
If a judge is caught being biased in any sort of way during a case appeal then they will be replaced.
Judges may not state their opinion until after viewing both sides’ arguments and evidence.
The appealer is always innocent until proven guilty during a case appeal process.
No one may pressure either side of an appeals case.
S & V Grade members must stay objective in all cases. Don’t let your emotions get the better of you. This applies to other scenarios as well.
For general disagreements, more specifically gray ones (meaning no resolution is being reached by either HR), the argument will be moved to the HC+.
Never host an event with an ally if you know you won’t be able to make. If you’re not there then have another S & V member take over.
As an HR try to host at least 4 times a month.
Attend a training that isn’t yours at least twice a week.
Disagreements regarding promotions at events shall be disregarded unless there’s an upset. However, some promotions may be halted if the Celvestian is not deemed worthy.
If you wish to host an event with a nation that’s not in a direct alliance with Celvestia then you must approach the Venerius first before conducting the event.
If you wish to assist a group that is planning an offensive strike against one of our allied nations then you must consider the fact that your rank as a S & V Grade member supersedes that of your rank in the nation that’s attempting to strike down our allies. In other words, you’re not allowed to assist the opposition. You must assist the allied forces regardless if allies are called or not (if you still wish to attend).
Never do something behind another S & V Grade members back, especially the Venerius.
If a law is added to the Universal Decree before a case appeal hearing begins then the law is in full effect and shall not be dismissed.
You are expected to follow all the laws listed in the Common Laws section above this one. No exceptions.
[4.0 | Conclusion]
This will be updated continuously and act as a section of the Universal Decree until further notice. Any further suggestions and ideas must be sent to an S & V Grade member and will be put up to a vote depending on its legitimacy. Thank you for reading and as always, stay true to your heart of gold!
