Recently, the lighting in my game in caves has become almost entirely un-shaded. Here is a screenshot of what the inside of a cave looks like currently in Roblox Studio:
As you can see, aside from the standard shadow line, it is very bright inside of the cave.
However, despite the fact that I have not changed the lighting of my game at all, the inside of caves used to be darker, as shown in a screenshot from a video below:

Although that video is 10 months old at this point, I have not changed my lighting. Opening a version of the game from that time period still yields the brighter lighting in caves. I have found something out though; the darker, more thorough shadows that used to be cast by terrain are still cast by parts. As you can see, by simply adding a part above the cave, it is properly dark again, despite the fact that there should be no differences.
This has seriously damaged the way players interact with caves in my game and I imagine has been a much larger problem for games with significant horror elements. I am not using the Unified Lighting beta, and this occurs both on the actual game and in studio.
