This is great news! Is there any expected date on when the new TextChatService will be put in the documentation?

The syntax for C# is incorrect in the following link above:
While I believe the Docs site is a step ahead in terms of the functionality it does and will offer, I find the color palette to be hard on the eyes, and feel a bit, for the lack of a better word, unwell, when looking at the site for prolonged periods of time. The background is too bright; it does not fit the color theme in my opinion.
I believe using the DevForumās color palette would make it easier on the eye, along with the added benefit of having āsharedā themes across platforms - as other parts of Roblox.com are beginning to utilize the same color theme.
Do you mean this one? TextChatService | Roblox Creator Documentation
It looks like this service isnāt fully documented yet, which means itāll be on the todo list for the Documentation team, so keep an eye out!
Yep!
Will do! Thanks!
Could you make it so that you can add it to the home screen or download it via chrome correctly just like the dev forum site.
I also saw that instead of > it has & gt; (without the space between & and gt)
Stuff like BrickColor and Color3 are not colored blue like in the IDE
When will be able to search for Properties, Methods, and Events? That is something I still use the DevHub with.
So this is the reasoning for adding a ton of components to the UIBlox storybookā¦ I didnāt expect this!
The new documentation looks a lot cleaner and more uniform with Robloxās new design style. Good to see website redesigns come into play this year!
Navigating the new site is slow. Like waaay too slow
This is the DebHub
And this is the Docs Site
I donāt understand the point on creating an entire new site just to give it cool UI effects and dark mode (Assuming on what weāve got so far). Thereās too much empty space, too little or less features, and the entire layout gives the dread of death
I understand the appeal of updating outdated User Interfaces, but thereās a point when you overdo the change
Personally, I think it needs to be scraped
Whereās the changelog now though?
That would be cool to have french translations for the docs !
Absolutely agree - I donāt like much this new website. Furthermore, the space to the sides has been removed, so the page takes a lot much more space now - the whole screen! This is terrible for readability as I have to move my head to be able to read content. This is part of the fundaments of web design!
this website is incredibly unreadable, everything is too big
Itād be a lot better if we had more control over what got shown at us.
If Iām looking at the properties of lets say Texture I donāt need an example on what :FindFirstChild() does.
At its current state it feels like an info dump rather than a documentation.
quick, run and archive everything on devhub!!!
jokes aside, i am a little confused on why a whole new site needed to be made instead of just giving the main developer hub site a makeover but i guess it does look a bit better than devhub
its kinda buggy tho so iām sticking with devhub for now
ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ
I donāt like the site alot at the moment due to the slowness and the DevHub being way easier to navigate. The new one is barren and boring.
wellā¦ if anyone here unironically thinks this new one is more readable than the old one then i am very surprised. i dont even need to explain why the new one is way worse. i dont care how fixed or up to date it is if its borderline unreadable.
Just saw this and my dissapointment cannot be measured
Never ever ever ever deprecate a working product if its intended successor is still in beta, ESPECIALLY if it functions worse than it did before
I cannot stress how astronomical this change could be. Modernization is not progress, its glorified mediocre
So, is the old documentation useless or both of the new and old one are same?
As someone who relies on light mode to keep me from passing out I donāt necessarily care for this
