Recently, “3O characters”, “3Ochars”, etc became banned words to prevent people from bypassing the limit. While I appreciate DevRel’s efforts in making rules harder to break, this can be a nuisance when someone is still bypassing the limit somehow and you want to flag it, as the words are banned even in flag notices.
I would like the words to be exempt from the filter when it comes to flag messages, as how else are you supposed to tell the DET that someone is bypassing the limit?

This is already over the top. Please use the search function.
Seriously… stop.
I see so many new users bypassing the 30 characters rule by doing or one of the many other methods for this and its incredibly annoying… (but also very relaxing to report them all!)
Examples (Im not trying to attack anyone!):
The 30 characters rule is there for a reason, to make discussion more lively and less spammy.
Dont ever do “Yes that I want! 30300303 charsswss”, that will most likely get you reported by people like me for bypassing the 30 characters rule. Please,…

Discourse has this, and i think it is removed here. There is a lot of <30 character posts that just do 30charssss just to bypass it. However the “Have you tried the button?” is removed from the error here.
Look at the message shaking lol. Surely to piss someone off (it did it to me and it was just a test for it to intentionally happen) to the point where they will just leave a like instead. You can’t tell me it doesn’t.
They should turn it into an actual rule then instead of having posts flagged. @buildthomas said users who use automatically get flagged and staff edit it. But that isn’t really fair if the rules don’t specify to not use it.
They put the 30 character filter in place to prevent spam, but they never said that artificially bypassing the filter is against the rules. Spam is against the rules, but artificially bypassing the filter isn’t. I believe in the post I made, I demonstrated how you could mak…
DevForum has a 30 character limit.
I entered ‘30 chars’ today to bypass 30 characters. I think everyone is doing it. (I’ve done this many times before)
But today, boom. My reply was moderated.
(So far, replies with ‘30 chars’ have not been moderated.)
This is unfair! Why was my reply moderated? how to bypass?

Hi there! I’m your avid Regular DevForum reader, and I’m here to tell you to not post for the sake of posting. Here’s why.
It doesn’t help you reach the regular rank
According to the DevForum rules, you ought to make meaningful and contributive replies. You could also use that as a little help to make sure that your threads are also contributive. Don’t get me wrong - posts like “I need help/feedback on x” aren’t bad. You shouldn’t post because you’re bored. You should post because you want to …

Just flag it as spam. It was considered as spam in the devforum rules

OP isn’t complaining about people bypassing the character limit, OP is asking for the removal of the filter when flagging messages.

Perhaps use “character limit?” rather than “30…”? This seems a bit wonky haha.

You should report this to Discourse as a feature request, this is not something Roblox would be able to patch elegantly.
