UGC Accessories Getting Stuck in Moderation

When uploading UGC accessories, there is a small chance that the item will get stuck in the moderation queue. The affected items will display the “pending approval” icon for a long period of time.

Expected behavior

UGC accessories should be accepted/denied in the usual timeframe (no longer than 20 minutes).

Same happens occasionally to the group I work with. This particular UGC just never cleared at all 10 days later.

Typically they do resolve within minutes to hours for us but definitely agree this is/can be devastating, especially when you consider release time vs. place in new releases and the algorithm showing it to users.

Happened to me twice last week and am still waiting for one of the items to be approved even after contacting the moderation team. Frustrating!

happening to me as well. random items out of a batch i upload just go unmoderated, very frustrating

The uploader in my group experienced the same issue. While all skin tones of the same face got approved, one has been stuck in moderation for days.

When I contacted support, I don’t think they even believed it was real. :sob::sob:

Edit: I had sent two tickets, and they gave a different response to the previous one. Excuse me, but I’m not filing an appeal?

We’ve identified and fixed the issue that resulted in some of the uploads being “stuck”. This has been live since Friday.

For uploads that were affected by this issue prior to that - we have also refunded the creators and canceled these uploads.

Please let us know if there any questions or if the issue is suspected to be not fixed

Thanks for identifying and fixing the issue. Just wondering where and when would I be able to see the refund in my transactions?

At the moment, the item (108401886693906) that I had uploaded is still pending approval and hasn’t been cancelled yet.

Neither the upload of the item stuck due to this issue on my upload account got canceled, nor did I receive a refund. Are you sure about this?

I have a similar case as @raskolibov . My item’s ID is 108401886693906. I haven’t received a refund nor has the item been cancelled yet.

Having the same issue with this item, its been over 20 days and support did absolutely nothing to resolve the item being stuck pending.
