Upcoming Changes to Avatar Catalog Upload Requirements

I uploaded multiple clothing assets and paid the fee for all of them, but none of them have shown up on my group store. I also put them for-sale.

It is ridiculous. I have made 4 bug reports and they have legit blown me off every single time.

This fee, and everything related to it, is so useless. Bots are rich, they really don’t care. A limit isn’t gonna stop them, they’ll just make more bots.

Also, now you don’t need premium, so in some instances it could make it worse. But they have been moderating the clothing well. Sometimes too well, I’ve uploaded some outfits and they’ve gotten content deleted. Changed the template, still deleted. Just make there be an age limit; a month or something. Maybe users are required to have a group + the limit. Idek at this point.

I said it once and I’ll say it again. This is not the solution to whatever problem you’re trying to fix. It’s not really the solution to any problem within the clothing community.

Although 10 R$ is better than the initial amount everyone thought (50 R$), it still won’t make a difference to the bots that have stacked millions from front page sales.

My biggest concern here is small clothing designers. People who are just starting out most likely will not get paid enough to cover the expenses of uploading and will likely quit after a few weeks of trying. Adding this will stop anyone from even wanting to be a designer, and most likely drive a lot of pre-existing creators off of Roblox.

In my opinion, this is the lazy way out of the true problem. Small designers now have to risk robux when they most likely won’t even make a profit, just because of a screwed-up front-page system. I understand that you guys are trying to find a solution to end the problem, but I don’t think this is the best one. If you had implemented better moderation features this would not be such an issue. The changes will not solve the majority of the problems, but keep layering on themselves until you have an even bigger problem than before.

It’s like looking outside in, you can’t see the struggles most of us have to ALREADY go through being a designer.

If you’re looking to fix the problem of botted or inappropriate clothing, I suggest working on your moderation. Many appropriate clothing pieces are being taken down while most inappropriate have passed through. It’s frustrating to me (and I assume a lot of other designers) that this is the update that we’re getting instead of one fixing or helping the moderation.

Sadly, I can afford the 10 robux but now due to their incompetence of a shotty update I can’t even upload clothing to my group. It’s been days now with no luck. I can’t afford to keep reuploading them at 10 robux to see if they will go into my group store. I should not have to do that. I have a group of over 61K and because of this whole mess now I can’t upload new clothing my members want to see. I mean what’s the point, the group store is not updating. I made a bug report and they said it’s fixed. HOW is it fixed if some of us group owners are still experiencing this issue. All this so they can make 10 robux off us per outfit we design. Good job Roblox, you’re making great progress (sarcasm at it’s finest).

Wait, this is actually a thing? I uploaded a shirt earlier and it showed up in “create” but it never loaded onto the group, I thought it was just my wifi sucking as usual. But there is a chance that I won’t ever show up in the group store??

Clothing hasn’t been showing up for me in my group’s store either. The page is still available to where I can link someone directly to the suit, but that’s entirely useless for a clothing group obviously. It was uploaded 4 days ago and still hasn’t went to the group page.

There are some groups I have seen that have successfully uploaded clothing to the group stores but there are many of us who still can’t and Roblox told me they fixed the issue. It’s been days since I have been able to upload my clothing, with the exception of one single shirt. I just know that there is no way I am paying another upload fee for each item. Members are leaving my group because of this. I’m truly disgusted by Roblox’s lack of concern about the rest of the designers suffering from another one of their huge mistakes.

I also can relate. I am losing hundreds of members because I can’t upload clothing. I’ve almost lost 2k members this week.

I’ve submitted many bug reports about this. They’ve done NOTHING about it, I know many designers work hard on making clothing for users, but this update is crapping out and now many groups are losing members because of this.

I have made 5 bug reports and they have done nothing. I have lost numerous amounts of members. They keep sending me the same response. I have paid the upload fee multiple times and still nothing. Here is what they send me EVERY time,

All 5 times this is the response I got. I am so sick and tired of being blown off. They don’t know how to fix it or they are just to LAZY. DON’T CHARGE US IF YOU CAN’T FIX IT!!!

This is not fixed for all designers. I keep getting the same response and after speaking with other designers, they have said the same thing. Either you don’t know how to fix it or you just don’t care. I believe it to be the latter of the 2. I’m tired of being blown off. I spent upwards of 700K+ robux on my group so yeah, it’s important to me. We will all continue making multiple reports until you all fix this. It’s ridiculous. You put out the shotty update that messed up our groups, now you all can fix it.

So ridiculous. Roblox needs to fix this update soon, is the engendering department on strike or something? If they don’t know how to fix it then they can hire someone else who knows how. I know many people that use Roblox as a way to pay their bills. I myself have used Roblox to pay for my car and phone bills. I hope this issue isn’t for UGC items too, because I’ve been working on a few items that I’ve worked hard to make. I don’t know what the problem is, but I either want a refund; or answers.

Wow, I post yet ANOTHER bug report due to the absolutely horrible effort of the staff team not responding to my reports. They decide to hide my post, they hid my post in under 5 minutes. But they can’t even respond to my bug report. Roblox has such bad forum staff oh my GOD, I know they put in the effort. But obviousley not enough.

I understand that completely. I haven’t made enough to dev ex yet and I won’t now for sure. Thankfully I don’t rely on Roblox to help pay my bills or I’d be homeless. Sad. By the way, I made yet another report earlier and another “Roblox staff” sent this to me,

Roblox customer support is a complete joke. You ever notice you never get the same staff to answer you twice? I’m waiting, one of the female staff will soon send me a reply saying they have “fixed the issue”. It’s crap that they are charging us when we can’t even get someone to listen and help. This is a major problem, and they keep sweeping it under the rug.
