More Robux to earn - price goes down?

Awesome, Roblox is causing Robux inflation and ruining their own economy.

Even if this is for app store restrictions it will eventually end up inflating Robux. Hopefully DevEx doesn’t get a big hit from this.

I’m going to stretch a bit here, but are you saying that it’s a DevEx increase because this would allow players to buy more Robux, giving them an opportunity to spend more Robux in games?

I just search about that and there is no way that is right that is a top level restriction

it’s not inflation it’s probably because apple and google take 30% of robux payments in their stores and roblox has the same prices on pc and mobile so they give you more robux on pc because they literally make more money on the purchase in pc.

Oh my god, This is an absolutely amazing update
I remember being devastated when robux prices dropped significantly back in 2019
From 1000 robux, To just 800
And more devastation when the EU robux prices increased by 20%
But this, Is more worth it in my opinion, Since i can get much more now, 1100 instead of 880 (10% more on top of this change because of premium)
Very glad with this change!

Awesome change, this is effectively the same as a DevEx rate increase.

Are there any plans for paid access with local currency to work similarly when it comes out? It would be great if we got a higher cut of cash purchases when users buy on PC and web, and it would help make Roblox much more competitive with other game hosting platforms.

is this because xbox, apple, android gets a cut of the money…

but this is a very good update!!!

well because app stores get cuts of money every time you buy something on there store also just go onto the website lol!

does this mean
deflation?

Very interesting for a billion dollar company to do something like this… Any time I buy :robux:, I’m never gonna do it on my phone again.

Does this also apply to gift cards from other virtual vendors outside of Roblox? (e.g Amazon, asking since currently the gift card images on Roblox’s Amazon storefront still say 800 instead of 1,000 etc)

:astonished: more money for developers! big win

Is this for Microsoft awards too?

they probably did it because ever since they made everything more expensive (raising the minimum price of preexisting item categories) they noticed that people aren’t buying as much stuff and they can’t put two and two together

i guess they wanted to kill two birds with one stone, they tried to solve that problem while also getting people to buy robux without having to deal with app store fees

let’s be real everyone, This is them reverting the changes of 3 years ago,

Also what’s up with “regional pricing” Why am i paying 240 euros (251 USD) for the same bundle friends in the USA can purchase for 199,99 USD
