Vanilla 3 - The pragmatic icon set for Roblox Studio

Greetings! I’ve found a slight mistake in your website. Usually, whenever users are told to go to a directory, it should be really easy, and they should just be able to copy the directory link. You have thought of this, which is great! But there is a slight typo/error with it:

%AppData%/Local/Roblox is not a proper directory, as shown in the following image:

Simple fix, just do %LocalAppData%/Roblox instead.

Other then that, this icon pack is amazing and I am probably going to recommend this to friends, this is such a great alternative to the stale and boring icons in studio. Thank you so much for this amazing resource, and I look forward to your future creations!

How do i add them on Mac, if it even works on mac.

Download the icons, now open finder. Look for ClassIcons.png then copy it. Once you copy it, go to roblox studio > Contents > Resources > content > textures and then paste the new icon. Then replace the class icons (studio default icons).

Now relaunch studio. It should work.
NOTE: You can’t use studio mod manager on mac. You have to do it every updates.

awesome tutorial dude. this helped me out so much :+1:. But one thing I found annoying, was anytime studio updated, you’d have to do it all over again. So I made this python script which completes this task(adding the icons) in miliseconds. It’ll auto add the class images file into the textures folder in each version. Which imo is pretty useful. So anytime studio updates, run the python script and it’ll add it for you! Here’s the github

If you’d like to execute this but dont know how to, here’s a small tutorial

using the python script

First, you’ll need to download the file itself. To do so, go to the github page(above) and click on the “code” button

image
then, a pop up will appear, click “download zip”
image
Once this is clicked, it’ll download the files as a zip. Open up the newly downloaded zip file inside of file explorer. Extract it.

Once you extract it, you’ll need to use visual studio code. Follow this tutorial by them.

Once you finish that tutorial, open VS code then select Open Folder

Next, open the extracted folder that you downloaded earlier.

Once opened, select import.py under the python folder. Then, at the top you should see an icon like this

click that icon and boom! It’s installed for you!

This is an issue with Mod Manager. Please follow up with @Maximum_ADHD :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey, I noticed that installing the icons through mod manager does not do anything, us there any way to solve this? Because I just wasted 10 minutes checking the override box.

I don’t manage the Mod Manager project - please report any issues to @Maximum_ADHD over on their GitHub

I have been enjoying this! Will the icon for VoiceChatService be added soon?

Actually, now it’s not working whatsoever?

This is the classImages file

I’m not using the mod manager, because it was being super sketchy, by kinda breaking some features, and refusing to be deleted.

Have you ever updated your Roblox Studio?

Also yeah, and I noticed a new service with a different icon from others (that’s not just a boring blue square) called “TextChatService” that appears when you go on a test play

Amazing! Am loving the look of the new icons

So uh, Roblox made a new chat system

New classes, and kinds of stuff, can you do those?

Yeah, these icons are now missing because of the TextChatService beta, it would be nice if these could have icons.

I recommend using the Mod Manager over manually installing those icons, just make your Windows NOT think that it’s a malware then maybe you’re fine

But I’m not stopping you

The Mod Manager was EXTREMELY sketchy, it started breaking and taking away some features from Studio (some essential buttons started graying out, like Game Settings and Save to Roblox as…), so I got sketched out and uninstalled it.

That’s amazing how it’s made with all those features pushing limits is key in life!

Hey there! The new icons are good but can you fix some of these vectors? Because with Roblox newest update and new stuff. And I do like to point that some of these vectors that don’t seem to have an icon.
Such as:
“Pathfinding Link”
“Terrain Detail”
“RigidConstraint”
“ChatWindowConfiguration”
“ChatInputBarCommand”
“TextChatCommand”

(Keep in mind that these are likely beta vectors? Due to my beta features being enabled)
