Basically a wmv to mp4 converter since the ROBLOX video file is wmv and when we want to upload a video to DevForum.
It’s pretty annoying to go to a website and convert it. So, I hope this feature can be added.

Seems like a problem with the video recording software you are using, rather than something the forum needs to change. I recommend ShareX, which will allow recording gif/mp4: https://getsharex.com

No, like I mean, if you are using the ROBLOX recording feature.
Yes, I am aware. That is why I am recommending ShareX, because it records mp4 by default. It’s not really on the forum to implement a converter when you can just use a different screen recorder.
No, this just duplicates the functionality of other sites. If you really don’t want to use ShareX nor OBS, https://cloudconvert.com is really fast and easy, much likely faster than anything that would be implemented here.
Maybe Roblox should just record in a more portable format to begin with. I’d recommend checking for an existing feature request in #feature-requests:engine-features or creating a new one for it.
EDIT: looks like there are two feature requests that would be solved by moving to a more portable format:
- Video recorder and screenshot support for macOS (can’t easily record in .wmv on MacOS)
- Change recordings made in roblox to MP4 or any other file that is not .WMV
