Voice chat and Camera input settings vanished from the website and client

For the past two weeks, it has been impossible for me to opt-in to voice chat or camera input from the communication settings. The settings for these features are no longer present on the website or in experiences. Curiously, I’m only experiencing this issue on one account: (PixelHix - Roblox).
There have been no major changes to my account settings since the problem began. With all web extensions disabled, I have tried accessing these settings with the following browsers on Windows 10:

  • Google Chrome Ver. 131.0.6778.86
  • Microsoft Edge Ver. 131.0.2903.70
  • The Roblox Player’s built-in browser

Below is a screenshot of the problem, with the missing buttons highlighted in red.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Visit the Account settings page at Account/Info or from the Settings button.
  2. Select the Privacy and content maturity tab.
  3. Select the Communication subcategory.
  4. Once the Account/Privacy/Communication page has opened, both the buttons for voice and camera communications will be missing.

Expected behavior

Because I had access to these settings only two weeks ago, I would expect to still see the opt-in buttons for them. The image below shows how the Communication settings appear on another account. The button to open the camera input settings appears successfully.

Through private messages, it was discovered that all affected accounts are currently experiencing temporary regional restrictions. Strangely, however, I have confirmed that other users in my region still have access to camera and voice settings. Upon searching up the issue, I believe I am actually experiencing this bug: Parental Controls Randomly Enabling, which was reported here: Unable to Access Certain Roblox Features

Even so, the mystery of the vanishing buttons has been solved.
