Update 7 - PvP
It has been too long!
So, you might have been wondering what have I been doing over the past 2 weeks.
I did 3 BIG things.
- Death mechanics
- Imported Infraction controller tools weapons and got it to work
- Bug fixes
Let’s have a rundown on what I did!
Death
If you have been following these posts you might have realized that I am not using Humanoids. The reason why I am not is simply because it is too limiting.
So, I have been designing a completely new death mechanic.

This works for the infraction too. PvP is finally here so you shooting now is enabled and damage is taken.
Infraction Updates
Good news! Infraction is basically complete.
I say basically but really I mean I finally managed to get the custom controller to work with the game!
Take a look.

All things considered. The infraction faction has progressed nicely. I am hoping on adding grenades and rocket launchers next.
Down the line I am thinking of adding the swarm bugs as well.
Bug fixes
There have been several bugs in my game that I am having a small issue with. I have fixed a load of them but now I think I am happy with the result.
Some fixed bugs included the characters not spawning and guns not working as intended.
Once I finish PvP for both factions I will do the first test. I actually hoped to do the test earlier but I decided it was going to be a little too little.
I have been working on this game for over a year technically. I am very proud of where I am at. I think I might manage to release the game in winter this year if all goes well:)
Endnotes
So, the last 2 weeks have been quite chaotic. Hopefully I can get this game done and dusted. There is now only 1 faction left. I am around 60-70% done with the game in terms of gameplay so I am proud of my progress up until now.
