there is no way that is official.
I think I’m getting better at this low-poly modelling! I wanted to share this because this was my first try at UV unwrapping this model (I’m starting to develop the spatial reasoning skills for unwrapping models)!
add some margins on it, otherwise the texture will bleed when you bake it,
(effects will also be see when the texture is scaled down by roblox at long distances)
example:
Figured I’d try my hand at a curvier sports car, it’s turning out a lot better than I expected.
Working on some new UI stuff with Sound Volblox, as well as adding a new song specifically for Halloween.
I’m hoping I can push this for a Halloween release, but with 8 charts still left to write, it looks like I might cut it close if I can balance it well with my schoolwork.
That is so awesome.
I was in Tokyo a few months ago, and spent a lot of time in arcades. Your game really gives me the same feeling as the rhythm games there. Something about the UI and menu layouts really give it that feel.
Edit: Bought 5 of the long song donations, really hoping to see more. I find rhythm games really fun!
Thanks!
Almost the entirety of the game is based on Sound Voltex (Sound Voltex III: Gravity Wars in particular), so it may seem very familiar if you might’ve played it, though I added some rather large gameplay alterations to make it both more of an original game, and easier…as well as possible to play on a keyboard at all.
I played SDVX III once during a one-week stay I had up in Seattle, WA, and I have an HDD rip of the game (as well as the previous two games in the series) that I play from time to time on my laptop.
(also holy crap 5 of the long song donations, bruh, I can’t thank you enough, now I can finally get all of the songs I plan to add into the game )
I mean, at least this is better than using 6 buttons and two knobs (or in this case, two…mice??), right?
I just watched some voltex gameplay, i don’t think they’re human o.o
Can’t reply. Having a heart attack.
I kind of wish that was an official feature so I could see how my game was presented on XBox without owning one. Might want to make a couple tweaks to my game so that it’s presented better on that platform.
Retracted this post because an admin kindly asked me to remove the video, so I obliged. If anyone wants context, just send me a message lol.
#Xray vision!
This was insanely easy to make after Sharps22 told me a little hax for it. Sadly I have ran into the same problem that @Maximum_ADHD ran into with his for The Stalker Reborn, it lags lower specs to run the CFrame updating every frame… Thankfully not by too much when used on 16 humanoids. (Maximum players my game has)
Do you also have an issue with XRay not showing up behind a part that’s too close to your camera?
Yes… if the wall is about ~0.4 studs in front of the camera, it’ll clip through the xray.
Would be pretty cool if you know, we could force parts to render over things (or better yet, have actual 3D ui elements) but for now this’ll do…
19.5 hours building spree
Spent around 19 hours and 30 minutes yesterday and today (I did the math) making some models. Who knows what I’m going to be using them for.
I made all of the models large and then shrunk them down to size. Not only that, but I was streaming while I was making them.
List of models:
- Air Unit
- Bag
- Trash Bin
- Cat Bowl
- Chalk Pack
- Desk Lamp
- Eraser
- Futon
- Gummy Bear
- Key Ring
- Kotatsu
- Mobile Phone
- Niku Bento
- Plastic Bottle
- Rice Cooker
- Table Top Stove
- Television
- VCR
- Wallet
- Chocolate
If you’d like me to post one of the models up close, just ask.
Animated texture water! (Gif not included)
Actually pulled the textures from my old RoCraft resource pack I was working on. Separating 25 textures from a spritesheet wasn’t fun.
The armor is looking hotter with this face and hair strands hue.
