What are you working on currently? (2020)

Okay, I decided to scrap the other project I’m making and do a new game :sweat_smile:

Anyways, here’s a sneak peek of something else i’m working on! :eyes:

(the camera position changes when you go near an enemy which is something I’m really proud of. :smile:)

I currently stopped for a while world generation and decided to make something else, currently working on recreating the 2011 inventory style for the classic menu, for now it only allows the player to store 10 tools, still need to add the extra tools space.

  • If the tool does not have a TextureId, the name of the tool is used, otherwise, the texture appears, this early gif also shows switching between tools.
  • You can also click on the buttons to equip/unequip their tools.

Looks good, maybe add some more designs like have the background a small bit transparent, basically fiddle around with the settings and see what looks good.

Working on making better games with better quality this summer.

Inventory system is now complete, since extra slots don’t have any keybinds connected to them, they don’t have their slot number visible, the canvas also increases in size every 10 tools, resulting in an “infinite” inventory, the only features I have not managed to make is to drag a tool from a slot to another and the search bar, but I think it’s good enough.

Edit: You can now switch tool slots by dragging a tool to another slot!

Kept working on the walker, I’m defiing the body shape before detailing it.

I’ve made connecting walls for my building system. Right now its just a big square, but I’m going to make it work with the placement system from my last post.

What did you use to make this? This looks way too detailed for Roblox.

I only used my meshkit and classic parts.

This is my first game,I’m developing it for a month.I used the capture the flag template because I’m new to scripting.It is a fighting game and the gameplay is pretty simple to understand:you and your team have to raid enemy’s fortress to get the flag.The game is space themed so I tried to make it look like a space station or an artificial space terrain.There is still a lot of work to do (i think this’ll get 4-5 months to develop)cause I want to make a good game that people will enjoy Here there are some screenshots but remember that the game is still in its first development stages .What do you think about it for being my first game ?Will it be good?Can you give me some advices?
