In-depth look at Cel Shading running in Roblox
Game link is included in the video description.
How do you do this? I have no idea how you make your shadow appear on the ground so clear. Is it scripted or do you just use very specific lighting properties?

Game coming out on December 20th,6 PM Est!
I have been working on this game for 6 months (it will actually be 6 months exactly on the 19th of December) I am passionate about it, and I hope it does really well. I am the only developer working on the game, and I am not struggling much. I am excited to finally release the game after all this time.

Added Sunken shipwrecks, NPCs (Ships, pickpocketing merchants), and updated chest system!
These shipwrecks randomly spawn around the map. They sometimes have treasure hidden within! Swarmed with sharks, they are dangerous destinations to dive to.
There are four different types of chest:
* Treasure Chest
* Map Chest
* Gold Chest
* Boss Chest
This chest gives you items (swords, armor, etc)
As expected, this chest gives you randomized amounts of gold when you open it.
Ships move, following their course. They can also stop at ports, during which time the NPCs unload, and sell items!
You can do this to get gold.
Anyone in the crew also gets angry and attacks.
You can find the rest here: High Seas | Sunken Ships, Treasure Hunting, Merchant/Ship AI - Devlog #7
The defined shadows are a result of the cel shading, and I just played around with the lighting properties to make it look good.

I’m currently working on my indoor fountain show and keep trying to improve the show cuz it’s still needs a lot of improvement. Inspired by Waltzing Waters and Grand Indonesia Fountain Atrium

2208 tris for a head accessory? Goodness, you’re going to want to optimize that a LOT.
Looks really good though.
jesus chri~ please reduce the tris and vertices
that is very optimized. what are you talking about? the limit for UGC models is 1200 vertices and 4000 tris. my model fits these requirements - in fact is far below them. do you have experience with modeling? You will see most models falling in this range. i am very confused.
You are aware that 2200 tris is an absurdly large poly count for a small head accessory, right? I like the attention to detail, but man, maybe consider lowering the poly count it’s too much imo.
i agree with @A_SquaredAnimations
it is wreath with lights on the head, you could decimate it and optimize it quite a bit, without losing the look.
as far am aware you have little to no modeling experience so i have to take your opinion with a grain of salt. my model fits the limits provided by roblox themselves. i have observed on roblox that many models fall in this range. i can look into furthing optimizing it, but taking off 500 triangles or so will not greatly effect framerate/optimization enough to even be worth it.
