Wow! I’ve been following this project for awhile now, one HiddenDevs, Devforum and Twitter!
Your progress always amazes me, so much done in such little time! Just when I think nothing more could be added, you add something more! Can’t wait to see the finished project!
Woah! This looks absolutely amazing, I love the color scheme especially! One thing I would recommend is raising the car up off the ground a little bit, or making the tires a little bit bigger, so the car isn’t scraping the ground. Great model!
Last, but certainly not least, my friend Amo! The sunrays look A M A Z I N G, and I really love how you put this together! The terrain path looks incredible! Do you have an overhead view to show us the size of the build? Great build overall!
Mentioned below are those who I have given feedback on their posts:
I’m making a horror game with my friend. The players are trapped in a maze with monsters and traps, and honestly it doesn’t require much scripting. Just much more building!
A few months into the year, I’ve decided to reevaluate my goals I set in January.
To refresh:
So let’s see how I’ve done:
“Have two good published games on the group.”
At the time of writing that and the time of writing this, I’ve had three published games on the group. Completed, or even at the point of decent playability? No. So, I haven’t made much progress on that.
“Get the group to 1,000 members.”
Well, let’s see. At the time of writing that, the group had 67 members. Now, it’s at 61. So I’ve LOST 5 members and gained none. So, I’ve made a loss there.
“Have 100K total game visits.”
Again, I haven’t really gained in this area. I don’t think anyone new has played any of my games.
“Make a profit of 10,000 robux”
Nope. No more robux.
So, to recap, almost halfway through the year, and I’ve actually gone BACKWARDS on my yearly goals. I think the goals I set were too ambitious. 1000 members? 100K VISITS!? What was I thinking, it’s impossible. I may just quit development all together. I’m not going anywhere with this.
But I have a theory on why I’ve made a net loss. For some reason, I seem to go through… phases. For a few weeks, I’ll be REALLY into development. I’ll get quite a bit through a project, and then just… lose interest. Get bored. And then I’ll want to quit. And I’ll stop development and shut down for not just weeks, but MONTHS at a time. And the cycle repeats. And I think that’s severely affecting my… 60 people playerbase.
I may need help. I don’t know what’s causing this issue or how to fix it, or maybe development just isn’t for me.
(edit: right now I’ve just started that phase of interest in development again. That’s why I wrote this post. Currently I’m working on my game, Battle Burst.)
TL;DR - Almost halfway through the year, I’ve not made progress but actually made a loss on my yearly goals. I don’t really know if I want to quit or not.
Yes albiet it is a little inaccurate , as i cutoff The maximum (red) at another number value rather than the real maximum, otherwise only spawn will be red.
To start, a barrier gate and a door are very similar. The gate rotates on the y-axis, while a door rotates on the x-axis. So, just make the “door” (gate) rotate on the y-axis and change the size/shape, and then you’re done! It still took me a little while because of the scripting math. It was a different way to calculate angles, but I eventually got it.
