Wrongly banned - creating or using an account to avoid an enforcement action taken against another account

Pretty interesting how no admins have replied to a post with 40 replies. Hope they are busy fixing this and are not just straight up ignoring us

thing about that is that most roblox admins arent actively let alone on the devforum. They most likely will not see this post.

im not too sure if its possible but if you are using a vpn, there’s a chance someone had been banned using vpn ip, then the vpn recycled that ip and you got it, that has happened to me outside of roblox, if not might be someone else that has been banned on your wifi, could be one of your old accounts or something

I never used VPN. I was simply editting my game in Roblox Studio.

Hi guys. This is probably the last update y’all will hear from me. Roblox has provided me with absolutely zero response so far. My case is getting fully ignored. I saw this coming but it is what it is. Roblox should be ashamed of its moderation system. Roblox is committing literal fraud and scam by banning users who have spent hundreds and hundreds of real money on this ā€œgameā€.

Anyways, I will still keep this thread to hear about y’alls perspective and such.

Judging from multiple peoples’ experiences, if you have more than one appeal active at one point it cancels both of them and they don’t end up getting a response. If you appeal after like 24-48 again once then you should get a response back if you’ve been ignored despite sending like multiple within a day. I think if you periodically try continuously you have a chance if you end up changing the message slightly to see which one will finally get one of the support members to read it. Gl tho!

Surprise, surprise.

After a whole month of silent treatment and sending countless emails to the Support Team, a moderator messaged from this Devforum post saying my account was restored.

I don’t think my account would have ever been restored if I never marked this post for moderator review and marked my other Devforum post under ā€œBugsā€ for moderation review. This was as much as of a miracle because I fully believed my account was as good as lost.

Lastly, I would only like to thank YOU guys for bringing this post and this massive flaw of the Roblox moderation system to the surface and in the spotlight. Without the attention, Roblox might have barely looked at this matter, let alone my account.

I have requested the Moderator to unban all accounts unfairly affected by this ban wave.

I know @quickifys has gotten terminated due to this and then a moderator reversed the action. Not even a day later, he got reterminated because of the same audio that got removed.

Roblox Support & Appeals are both giving him the run around and trying to assist him out little by little. I also do want to help other people that are one with this moderation falsely situation.

Right now, it’s just getting them to actually investigate this and stop denying these innocent people that have 0 record of bad behavior on the platform. It’s sad to see and I hope a roblox staff member can stand up and escalate this so it can be seen.
