I think you’re kind of acting ridiculously complaining about a first and last name being given. Also, I can sorta guarantee that you’re probably not the only person with your name and last name.
Think I put myself in that but I don’t expect to be invited, I’ve made practically 0 useful contributions apart from Studio plugins lol
Actually, I just remembered I can’t be invited due to errr some complaints that I regret about last years (Roblox didn’t have a choice probably so I don’t know why I bothered complaining, and no I don’t actually know if that means whether I’m banned from RDC or not), and I’m under 16 (think the age requirement was changed to 16+)
The game jam is for everyone invited to RDC
Yeah, it was only announced 2 months ahead, and besides, quite a few developers are going to be in education at this time, e.g. college or university.
Looking forward to seeing it, we know you’ve been working hard on this!

Can’t wait to see what new and amazing things come out of this years RCD! Hoping to finally get an invite this year!
I’m super excited for RDC! Just hope I get an invite. I’ve been working really hard on a few games these past months and spending a lot of time in studio, so I hope the take that into account when deciding who to invite. I’ll definitely be attending virtually if invited, but I’m still really excited and I can’t wait for the presentations shown!

What email does the invite come from? I received an invite from an email address at fntech.com. Is this invite legitimate?
I’ve been to RDC and staff have mentioned this. For example, since I’m an event organizer, I’m part of wave 2.

It is legit. Just checked. Just make sure that if you’re going in-person that the email you received is the full invite and not the full-virtual one.
Too bad I won’t be invited lol, maybe next year.
I wonder if DevRel could give us specific updates on when the invites go out (such as the wave via thread), and whenever the timing frame for invites has ended. This would really help developers who question if they still have an opportunity. Just a little piece of feedback, without updates, developers will not know when the next wave has started without a spike in activity from #RDC2022 on Twitter or any other social media.

Super happy to have been invited to RDC! Looking forward to attending again this year. I might try and do a bit more networking since the sessions always have VODs available but I’ll definitely be sure to turn up for some of the more interesting panels for questions. Got a lot I look forward to in the years to come with Roblox.
(I got the email on the first day but it went to my spam so I didn’t know until 3 days later, nice.)
