I have a group (aka community) on my alt with over 1 million robux that i want to transfer to my main to buy a limited. The group itself is empty now, but previously it used to have a game which unfortunately got taken down, nevertheless, all robux were earned fairly. But still, I’m asking this question because I saw many times how roblox terminated people for “selling robux outside of the Robux website” even if they simply transferred fairly earned robux to their account or paid out to developers. Moreover, when I’m about to transfer this much robux (people got banned for transferring as little as 10k). So if somebody have ever transferred this much, let me know whether you succeeded or not, and, if you know, how exactly I can get permission from roblox staff to transfer robux without getting falsely banned.
Yep, unfortunately this is true. Giving or receiving ridiculous amounts of robux (sometimes few amounts) through groups (or even through donation games) often results in account deletion with the note “Your account has been moderation for buying, selling or trading Robux or virtual Roblox items outside the Roblox website”.
They do this because they can’t 100% determine if you actually sold robux outside of Roblox, so they’ll terminate your account with 1% doubt.
This case happened a few weeks ago with someone with 210k followers
In spite of his popularity his account is still terminated till this day.
Some posts have been made about this. It’s a very common problem but not a lot of people are talking about it.
Of course some of the victims got their accounts back, but it’s incredibly difficult and it just depends on luck, and Roblox Support isn’t guaranteed to actually review your case and unban you.
You can’t ‘get’ a roblox staff’s permisson to transfer this huge amounts of robux. It’s how their flawed automatic moderation system works. It automatically takes moderation actions against accounts. No moderation actions are being made by humans. They don’t have control over this. You’ll either be ignored or told that they can’t do anything.
I strongly advise you not to transfer robux to your main.
What would be the point of developing, publishing, and updating experiences in a group if you can’t even transfer the Robux earned to your account? Hundreds, if not thousands, creators transfer a substancial amount of Robux from their group to their main account every day, this kind of false termination is still very rare. Even if it happens to you, you still have the ability to contact support and be patient until your account is restored.
Among the 4 different cases you shared, it seems that only one has been falsely banned while having a “normal” behavior. 2 others were banned because they spent a large amount of Robux in “Please Donate” (they could have purchased a game pass or shirt from a group that violates the TOS, which could be considered as being one of their customers), and the last case involved a giveaway of 200,000 Robux, which, to my knowledge, is against the TOS.
I always send myself group payouts like that whenever I have to devex. And I know people who also do it.
So if you have an owner role in the group or such, it should make your chances better (of not getting terminated falsely)
Hope it helps!
On my main account, this one is like my second main, however I rarely use it to communicate with people.
Anyway, I keep basically all my robux in groups just in case I want to transfer robux to one of my accounts and avoid a thirty percent fee every time (not to talk about the wait).
Long (not really) story short, I once got warned for selling / buying robux on an alt that I have only used a couple of times (after transfering around 500 R$ to my main, the alt wasn’t even related to the payout, yet it got randomly punished).
Roblox needs to cut down on automated moderation or improve it drastically.
Just make sure to give the account your paying out has developer permissions.
Thanks for advice! The group is on my alt but I can easily transfer it to my main for a few weeks. Hope roblox won’t ban me
You don’t need to, you just need a developer role like the comments above said. I’d give every permission just to be safe (to verify ownership)
